SKIL PWR CORE 40V 2.5Ah Battery, BY8705-00

Gives an extra boost of energy over the 5amp, but so heavy. NO need to go to the gym if you're weed waking or blowing when your tools have this battery. This battery is price fixed, which is supposed to be illegal, but never enforced. No matter where you go it's the same price except Amazon. But I didn't order through them b/c they're known for having counterfeits. I wanted fast delivery which pushed me to order through Walmart.

I have been using skil products for over 2 years now and they have been pretty solid and reliable. This new 6 AH battery has more power compared to the earlier 5AH battery. It gives power to finish my .4 acres lawn mowing in a single go. Very happy with Skil.

Had battery replaced under warranty as the one that came with my pole saw died. The replacement battery works good. I rotate all batteries through my mower and pole saw as needed to cycle them regularly and keep them healthy.

Very powerful and long lasting battery. This battery will power the polesaw longer than you can use it without a break. I have used it continuously for over an hour without recharging.

I sent two back under warranty with no questions asked except for the serial number . I could not have been more pleased. Just remember to fill out product registration.

It is a long performing battery. In rough grass it will lose its charge a lot faster. Be careful to not get it overheated..it will take a while for it to cool down enough to charge!

This is the 3rd pwrcore 40 battery that I have bought over the past4 years for my chainsaw. My 2 original ones I purchased in Dec on 2021 and have used them regularly for cutting my firewood and only now has one decided not to recharge. I think getting over 3 years of hard use pretty good. I have noticed that the batteries don't like cold weather. Normally they are stored in a unheated shed. If I use the saw when it's below 60, it tends to cut only in short spurts. I've discovered if I keep the batteries in the house, then I can do all the cutting I want even below freezing.

The operation of the equipment works very good. The Problem is I couldn't finish weed eating and blowing the grass with one battery. So I bought another one. But because my first battery quit working I bought four of them. I didn't want to buy more batteries because of the expense. I purchasing four more batteries that I didn't want to drag a extension cord around anymore. Therefore I was willing to pay the price. (I have a total of six batteries) I can't say the battery last any longer than the very first one. All I know is that I'm pleased with the equipment.

Works but not as well as the 5.0ah. I had to replace the 5.0 after it began leaking. This one isn't as strong & doesn't last near as long but it works.

Using this 2.5 Ah battery gave very performance with the chainsaw. The chainsaw kept stopping while cutting so I switch to the 5 Ah battery though heavier it kept the chainsaw cutting without stopping while cutting.
