This saw has worked very well on a deck renovation project that included replacing some rot in the wall the deck was attached to. The blade holder design is far superior to the one on the last reciprocating saw I owned - very quick, simple and effective to use. The battery holds its charge for a good amount of time and allows some tough work to get done. It recharges within an hour.
As with the other 20V Skil tools I own, this "Saws-all" is smaller, lighter and more powerful than my previous set. Much easier to use!
works as gd.as expected. would highly recommend product for the beginner to the field of chainsaw use
I just purchased my second Skill saw! My first one worked for years and still does but the battery finally gave out so I bought a whole new one. Super for use around my huge yard full of trees etc.
This saw is great however slightly heavy and you need both hands to control it.
Awesome tool works great used to cut up whole tree already and a lot of rebar
Needed a cordless reciprocating saw but didn't have much of a budget. I have a lot of Ryobi One stuff but felt their saw was a bit under powered and too much vibration. Everybody elses were expensive because you had to buy the battery pack and charger. Along came the Skill with everything I wanted at a great price, plenty of power, ease of handling. Just a really nice saw that didn't break the bank. I highly recommend you look at this saw first, you'll be surprised.
Truthfully I'm happy with the saw it cuts through everything/anything I've attempted to cut with it. Now for the bad news after I received the saw with a 20v 2ah battery it burnt all of the I had up after 5-10 cuts they were needing to be recharged honestly I can't stand a company with such a great brand of tool but refuses to help a loyal customer with upgrading to a bigger ah battery that's the only negative thing I have to say about skil is the battery life only having 2ah for the tool well let's just say I'm dumb founded other than that I would recomend skil to anyone that asked me where the best power tool comes from
Ok for small projects if you plan on using this for all day use it's not for you
The tool does not work properly
