SKIL RS5825B-10 20V PWRCORE 20 Brushless Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless Reciprocating Saw Kit (2 Ah)

This compact reciprocating saw worked well. Used it once so far and it cut nails quickly with the metal cutting blade. It has a good, balanced feel. I like the variable speed trigger which helps with control. I would recommend this brushless tool to anyone who wants a cordless recip saw.

I really liked everything about this saws all. I do have one suggestion in that they would move the lock button. I am right handed and several times I inadvertently depressed the lock button. Minor I know, but would lesson my aggravation. Great tool!

I up graded to this model from the one below it dew to vibration. This one is great. No vibration and comfortable in my hand. I'm glad I upgraded.

I am pleased with the performance of the saw overall used it to cut new roof vents in a metal roof it proofed that it was capable of doing the job.

This is a great saw, well balanced for one handed use. Bright LED lights let you see the material being cut in low light situations. Overall an awesome saw that won't break the bank!

I recently purchased the Skil PWR CORE 20 Brushless 20V Compact Reciprocating Saw with optional wood cutting blade. I use it for trimming trees and clearing brush. It works great and runs a long time between charging.

I bought this as an alternative to a larger, heavier reciprocating saw. My primary use, I thought, would be trimming limbs from trees and I thought the ability to use this one handed would work well. And it did. It's awesome for that job! But I find I'm using it a lot more than I expected. It can still be used 2-handed for larger cuts, but I love the light weight. Instead of picking up a hand saw for a quick cut or trim as I used to do, I grab this. Faster and easier. And it fits into smaller places a lot easier for me. In terms of power, I'm no tool expert. But this has never been short on power for any of the jobs I've done. Couldn't be more satisfied with it.

Have not had a chance to use it yet but it seems well balanced. Most of the bigger corded models are 2 handed option. This can be run with 1.

Decent power for the compact size. Great price with complete set: battery and charger included. Battery draws quit as expected.

Since you've asked for my opinion, I wish I hadn't bought this tool. The battery life is far too short and the 5-minute recharge that is mentioned is really misleading. If I hadn't used it, and is now dirty, I would return it to Menards, but I cannot.
