Excellent value! Love this saw. The foot pedal is a game changer. Easy to use with fast blade changes and excellent stability. I anchored mine to a workbench so it would quit “walking away”. Sturdy, dependable, and an excellent tool. I've cut 1.5” cherry like butter!

So far very satisfied with this SKIL Scroll Saw. It's easy to use and seems to do the job effective and quiet.The LED light is a plus. Also handy to move to different locations. Looking forward to performing many task

Smooth-cutting and quiet. Enough power to stand up to thicker hardwoods. The bellows blower to clear the cut sawdust off the cut line doesn't work at all for me and the light could be more effective but the actual saw is very good. Came with the base perfectly square with the blade.

Received this as an early Christmas present. This is my first time to own and use a scroll saw so there's been a learning curve. The item was simple to assemble and begin using. I built a table specifically for this and then bolted it down to keep it from vibrating too much. It's easy to use with the work light and dust blower that help make accurate cuts. I put a different blade on it based on research i did prior to using it. Works better than the ones that came with it. I rate it 4 1/2 stars only because i think it could be a little heavier to help with vibration. Otherwise, this is a great saw that I look forward to using for a long time.

I am more than satisfied so far with my new Skil scroll saw. It appears to be very well made. I have a few concerns. I will be using the scroll saw intermittingly thereby storing it away when not using it. I intend to disconnect the foot switch that just gets in my way. My primary reason for purchasing the scroll saw is to cut 1 1/2-inch thick Douglas fir for power carving into wood figurines. The blade that is supplied with the new saw cuts very slow even at the highest speed. I have ordered some heavy duty spiral pinless blades that should cut a little faster. It is great that Skil provides the adaptor kit for pinless blades. More cutting is needed to really review my new Skil scroll saw.

This saw replaced a Craftsman saw. It is a lighter saw . Hopefully it will last as long as the Craftsman.

Spent two hours cutting patterns out today. The saw is well built. Used the foot pedal at first then switched to using without it. The light and blower work well. I started off using a blade provided then switched to a type that has teeth running in both directions. This saw did the job well on both 1/2" and 1/4" material. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I think it should be a little more heavier to help with vibration. Other than that I recommend it.

Box was damaged and it was obviously returned by someone else from the label that was on the outside of the box. And instead of it going back to Walmart, it was sent directly to me. It's missing parts! I'm returning it. Very disappointed!
