Good product but it arrived a little later than expected
works great!!
I have used and loved using Skin Grip for both my Medtronic infusion set and CGM since I first found their website (its been a few years). I love the color choices, ease of application and removal and the fact that when I need my device to stick in water (beach activity!!!), it does. My recent vacation involved two different beaches and a pool, and I never needed to double check. Great product and proud to show them off!
Since I started using these patches, I do not have to worry about my device coming off. They stay put no matter what I am doing!
Easy to order and have loved having the overpatches. I run cross country and teach and have no issue with them falling off even with sweat!!
I use the full face grip...no hole in grip. It, initially, was challenging to center the grip accurately on sensor that caused numerous misalignments, sensors getting wet from nonadherence and ultimately, waste of a grip. I now trace the sensor's circular shape onto the grip before I adhere it to the sensor. This allows for a more accurate placement and the savings of a grip and sensor.
I am so happy I found these!! Skin Grip has made such a difference! I pulled 2 monitors out on accident because I was putting clothes on and it caught the sensors and pulled them out! One still had 9 days left and the other had 6 days. Since finding Skin Grip, I have had no problems and I hardly know it is on!!
The first batch of overpatch from Skin Grip I got (black) smelled very bad when wet. After contacting their customer service to let them know, they generously sent me a replacement pack (blue) which has zero smell. Not sure if it was the black dye or not. Both colors stayed on the whole two weeks through exercise and shows. Their customer service was extremely friendly and prompt!
It works holds the sensor in place but wasn't easy to use.
I've been using the patches since I was diagnosed in May. At that time I had the freestyle Libre 2 and the process I used for patch placement worked well. The patch itself held up very well and even at the end of the 14 day sensor life, it wasn't in bad shape. These new ones for the Libre 3 don't seem to hold up as well as I've had to replace the patch midway through the sensor life. Maybe this batch was different? Overall I like the product but I'm still not sure about this later iteration. Thanks
