Skin1004 - Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule (50ml)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the SKIN1004 Probiotic-Cica Intensive Ampoule, and it’s honestly been such a comfort for my sensitive skin. I noticed the results pretty quickly, less redness and way less irritation when my skin is acting up. The consistency is lightweight and smooth, almost silky, and it sinks in fast without leaving any stickiness behind. I really loved that it didn’t smell like anything at all. The central and probiotic ingredients feel super calming and gentle. I’ve even reapplied it on extra sensitive days, and it layers perfectly without feeling heavy or greasy.

This ampoule is thicker in texture than the original SKIN1004 Ampoule that I know and love, however this also layers perfectly over the probio toner and under the probio cream. The rich and milky formula leaves a non-sticky texture and a healthy glow.

My first time using Korean skincare, I have enjoyed the process of pampering my skin each evening and morning. The ampoule is truly scent free, which is something I’ve never encountered in a skincare line (even the ones that claim to be scent free truly mean they’re perfume or added scent free but have some underlying aroma from the ingredients. This truly has no odor at all). It does leave a slightly tacky texture but it’s nothing too bothersome given how comfortable and hydrating it is otherwise.

The ampoule itself is nice to apply, there is no scent so it's friendly to people who are sensitive to fragrance. However, as you can see in the video, it was very difficult to get the product out. I do not know if I happen to receive a faulty dropper in my product, but I couldn't get any of the ampoule using the dropper. I ended up having to pour the ampoule directly on my palm, which is annoying. I think this may be due to the fact that the ampoule is thick. But even if that's the case, a better bottle/dropper design would probably solve the issue.
