It's a clear liquid that absorbs quickly and I did notice my skin looked brighter and fine lines were less noticeable. Some people mention the smell but I didn't find it strong at all. It is expensive but seems worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got over the smell (I'm sensitive to scents) I realised how good this product is. I have been breaking out a little lately, itchy, irritated face too. This little wonder product calmed the irritation after one use! The product is unscented but the smell of it, I can only describe as smokey, copper, hotdog sausage water/tuna brine. I guess that's what you get using these pure ingredients though. I had a sample of this product so can't comment on the effect of my fine lines and wrinkles, but overall from using C E Ferulic with 15% L-ascorbic acid daily, it's definitely helped my skin feel more calm and does not effect how I usually wear make up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] U can actually see results… this smell is different from the one for oilier skin… I have the phloretin cf and its smells different from the c e ferulic.I personally prefer the c e ferulic smell but nothing that is unpleasant . After I finish my phloretin I'll definitely will purchase the c e ferulic.i think my skin finds it more comforting even tho I have oilier t-zone .i took a star only because of the price 😊!I just wish it was a bit cheaper but … I love the vit c and they r and will be a staple in my skin care routine !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trying the Skin Ceuticals C E Ferulic 4ml sample that I've received from a sampling campaign, and I can see why it's so popular, it gives a nice brightening effect and absorbs well. However, with my combo acne prone skin, I've found that the Silymarin C F Vitamin C version suits me better. The C E Ferulic feels a bit rich and seems more tailored to dry skin types. Still a great quality serum, just not my perfect match. Glad I got to try it! great opportunity but I wish I got the Silymarin sample. Although I got this 4ml Ferulic serum as a sample my feedback is still genuine.

Being a lady about to reach her 50th year I am starting to invest more in skin care so I was hoping to get good result. The product was easy to use with no really odour sat on the skin nicely but sadly that was about all the positive's. After time I found that my skin felt drier that it did before and I had a few break outs that again were unusual for me. I stuck with it and used every drop but have not noticed any improvement to my complexion.

The product itself had completely oxidized by the time I received it just days after ordering. You can look it up. It's supposed to be clear to yellow-ish. If it turns dark yellow, brown or amber, it's lost a meaningful amount of potency. Mine was amber. I'm trying to get a refund because this is an expensive product!
