SkinMedical Retinol 1.0 Complex is the best non prescription retinol that I have found. I have used retinol for years and so I chose the 1.0 strength. Use for a couple of nights causes a light peel of skin. Exfoliate that and skin looks plump, smooth and bright. Other strengths are available if you are just getting started with retinol. I highly recommended SkinMedica. Wal-Mart offers it at an excellent price.
