Skip Hop Discoverosity Montessori-Inspired 3-Stage Activity Center for Babies

I believe this is the best on the market. It goes great in my daughters living room, I myself think the highly colored toys are unnecessary. Our 4 month old loves it, he requires a very small blanket rolled to support his back. He tolerates 10 minutes very well. I love how you can continue adapting this to older ages and even add the same make chairs.

Gave this item as a baby shower gift. Mom and baby both love it. Keeps baby busy so Mom is hands free to do whatever she needs to do.

Good product, lots of activities to play and grow with, definitely worth the money!

Easy to assemble looks exactly like the photo but it's wobbly the legs aren't aligned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to love this as much as the little one... Once put together, all was well at first. We had thought the legs were a tad wobbly, but thought nothing of it since it appeared stable and secure enough at first. Within the first 2 months, one of the legs fell apart as they are only attached with an inaccessible screw. Contacted customer service, and they sent a replacement. Lo and behold, a month later, not only did the same thing happen to the replacement, but it also happened to another leg! Instead of going through the whole process again, we decided to just epoxy the plastic foot portions to the rest of the wood leg, which isn't great, but we don't have to worry about them falling off anymore. Will not recommend until this crucial design flaw is fixed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is disappointing and not worth the money at all. My baby is 6 months old and has only just started using this. This activity center feels very cheap and while easy to put together, it's also VERY easy for my baby to pull the toys off. She had yanked off each toy (one toy even hit her in the face when she pulled it off). A 6 month old shouldn't be able to do that. It's not safe. Probably going to have to put it away until she's older and can use it for its other functionalities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm surprised this hasn't been recalled. The straps detach on the foot stand and if that's not bad enough a leg on ours has completely come detached with the screw rattling around on the inside of the hollow plastic leg, with no way to secure it back to the wooden part of the leg. This was a gift and we started using it on Thanksgiving Day. So we haven't even had it a month yet. I'm not worried about my money but I am worried about other babies. Recall this immediately before you get a lawsuit.

Unfortunately this is not Montessori or Montessori inspired. Montessori pedagogy discourages the use of “containers” such as these and opts for giving your child ample opportunities to explore how their body moves and works through floor time. Montessori does not solely mean natural and neutral colored toys, while they are encouraged in a prepared space that is not the only piece of the Montessori puzzle. Please please do some research if you are interested in the Montessori approach, as this is not necessary aligned!
