Skullcandy - Barricade Mini BT Speaker

I love this speaker! just ordered another one as a coworker run off with my first one. its got great sound with solid base, good and water resistant, and can take quite a fall. I'm not big on electronics so I didn't know what to buy but I know I like this little speaker!

This speaker is amazing for tbe size and price. I recommend buying it from Amazon because its over $10 cheaper.

Very surprised by the quality and sharpness of this mini speaker! High durability and quality of materials you can feel in your hand. The built in loop makes portability super simple. I plan on using this on some backpacking trips and it will fit the bill perfectly! Ease of pairing is wonderful. Super simple and easy to follow instructions. I have gone through quite a few bluetooth speakers, and I have to say for it's size it is LOUD. It is very portable and has a great battery life. One great feature that sets this speaker apart from others is that is doubles a charging station for your other devices. Overall a great durable outdoor speak that will accompany me on many ski trips to come. #Geartester

I have the original barricade - larger speaker, $79 Out of the box this speaker blew me away. In fairness, I will tell you I have an extremely high end blue tooth speaker. I wasn't expecting to be blown away with this speaker, but I was wrong! The sound is rich, the look is clunky yet classy, and believe it or not, I dropped it getting it out of the packing box! Not only did it survive the fall, but I've dropped it several times on purpose with zero damage. I left it in the rain for over an hour. I did let it dry out before trying to use it, and it sounded great! It also has an 8 hour battery with the capability to use it as a charging station. I can answer the phone thru the speaker and change stations for my music thru the speaker. The last feature I wasn't expecting, you can attach another speaker and daisy-chain them for surround sound! This is perfect for poolside, inside, camping and fishing, without the fear of damage. Also a very convenient loop to hang it off of your gear. Definitely a YES for me! #skullcandy #geartester
