Skullcandy Dime 3 XT True Wireless in-Ear Earbuds, True Black

I was not used to this kind of buds, they can connect to two different items, tv and cell phone or music and tv. Just read and understand the instructions. Now I enjoy them. Clear sounds and good connection. Fast charging and long battery life.

after returning a $120.00 earbuds of a different brand ( bought from a different company) coz i couldn't justify paying that much for it. i found these and decided to give it a try and glad that i did. the fit is way better and the sound quality is just as good. plus the camo is cool. holds the charge very well.

i stand by skullcandy and these dime 3 earbuds are so good for the price. the sound is solid, they get loud enough, and they’re easy to use. i love that they’re pink, they’re really cute and don’t feel cheap at all. the case is small and convenient, and i added a cute keychain which makes them even better to carry around. great quality for the price and perfect for everyday use.

Delayed this review 6 mo toreally get daily use out of them......these are amazing!! Color is beautiful happy that it wasn't that Bubblegum pink everybody else seems to use. Great sound, long battery life, fast charging, everything you could want in an earbud!! Skullcandy's quality has always been great and the price for these made them even better!!

I can't comment on sound quality because that isn't something I care about. But as someone who often finds earbuds of any kind painful, I was overjoyed that these do not have this problem. They are also very light, so I have no problem wearing them for hours every day. Perhaps related, my only complaint is that they occasionally fall out of my ear. The lack of pain (and a low price) are worth it for me.

Sound is about what you would expect for something that is sold at this price. Don’t expect Bose or Apple quality in the sound. As far as function, I have a recurring problem. For some reason, even though the earbuds are in the case and charging, my Bluetooth still connects to them and sound plays through the earbuds instead of my phone speakers unless I turn the Bluetooth off or disconnect the earbuds. Googling the problem. It looks like other people have experienced this and recommend cleaning the contacts on the earbuds and the charging case. I’ve cleaned them very well and I don’t think that’s really the problem. I had this problem, even when it was fresh out of the box. For some reason the contacts don’t touch tightly, there must be space or something between the contact in the case and contact on the earbud making the phone think that the earbuds are in use instead of in their charging case.

These earbuds have been disappointing for me. The fit (regardless of tip size) becomes uncomfortable after 45 minutes. The sound is average at best. They don't get loud enough when listening in real world environments (public transport station/airport or noisy office building). I sit on conference calls 4 hours a day and the feedback from colleagues is that I sound muffled. In my opinion, you're better off grabbing some earbuds from Dollar Tree or Five Below as these earbuds seem to match the audio quality of those locations.

This is my second pair of the dime 3's in as many weeks and the case just randomly stops working. It will not charge. I had the same problem with a pair of skullcandy smoking buds a week before that. I would not recommend any skullcandy product at this point. That's 3 defective pair in 3 weeks.

They worked great for a few months and I was very happy. Then they quit connecting to the case, so would no longer charge. If I paused my music by pushing the right ear bud, the whole bud would turn off and unpair. Sent for Skullcandy warranty and bought a new pair. New pair wouldn’t even connect to the case straight out of the box, and never did. This new pair also would not connect or stay connected to my phone. I’ve been a Skullcandy fan for years and I’m very disappointed in this drop in quality.
