Sky Viper Type-R Racing Drone With Charging Cable and Replacement Propellers

I purchased this drone for my 8 year old son, so I didn't have many expectations. I just wanted it to fly. But to my surprise - my 17 and 23 year old sons enjoy it as well! Great purchase and would definitely recommend!

I'm absolutely loving my Type-R Racing Drone! The speed and agility are insane, and it's so much fun to fly. The drone is super responsive, and the controls are intuitive, making it easy to navigate through tight spaces. The video quality is amazing, and I love the first-person view (FPV) experience it provides. I've been flying it for hours on end, and it's a great way to unwind after a long day of work as a doctor. The build quality is solid, and it's withstood a few crashes without any issues. Overall, I'd highly recommend this drone to anyone looking for a thrilling and immersive flying experience - it's a real adrenaline rush!

This is a great budget friendly stunt drone. The Type-R is a good drone to learn on as it allows the user to incrementally increase speed and stunts. It thankfully comes with replacement propellers but not extra guards. Unfortunately, it only comes with one battery so flight is limited until recharge is complete. The controller requires AAA batteries which are not included. The emergency stop feature is nice. The launch and land button is a must.

This product is very user friendly for a beginner. It is also enjoyable for my boyfriend's kids and they love flying it around outside. I liked how fast it went through the sky. Its stunt capabilities were cool and agile. I don't like that the controller is battery powered and not rechargeable.

I love how fast this little drone is. It's very quick and it's unbelievably stable for such a small and fast drone. definitely not for beginners on the third speed setting. had I not had experience with drones prior to this one definitely wouldn't have gone as well as it did. the other than that it's stable, it's got trim capabilities, it would be neat if they could add acro to this drone but even without it it's a lot of fun. way faster than probably 80% of the drones you can buy for anywhere under $150. I added a little antenna to mine on the controller and it actually helped the maximum control range quite a bit. I don't suggest taking your controller apart and adding an antenna unless you're an experienced hobbyist. all in all the same gets five stars for me I love this little drum very very fast very very fun with decent battery life for such a fast drone.

I really appreciated that this drone was ready out of the box, it was really easy and intuitive to get started, no apps to download and learn. The drone moved much faster than I was expecting! It's really fast and was fun to use and tru stunts. There's still a decent learning curve for me, but the drone held up to accidentally hitting in bushes and trees (that was on me for not thinking about wind gust blowing it and flying it too close to my house). Very fun and solid drone.

Not sure if this is a great drone for beginners, but it sure is fun. I can see why they call it a 'performance racing drone' because it is fast and the controls are extremely responsive. I'd suggest getting a model with auto launch/land and return to home if this is your first one. The speed on this one is impressive and the one touch stunts are cool, but it lacks a camera so the fun from this type of drone comes mostly from flying/racing it and not any functionality it will provide.

The plastic is warped after a while. And you need batteries while the time depending on the use and for kids. You have a lot of use. So, batteries don't stand up long.

The Skyviper drone controls are pretty good for the price. It seems like a great starter done to get the feel of controlling a drone without complicated features. It can be a little drifty but I think I may need to work on calibrating it more. This drone is great for older children/teens as well as adults and is relatively easy to fly. It may take a little time for a novice to fully use this drone, but once you get it down it is pretty easy and a lot of fun. One con that I can think of is the absence of an on/off switch. you must unplug the battery to get it to turn off or the battery will drain. All in all I find this drone to be great for the price and would recommend it to anyone that wants to get into flying drones.

it will not calibrate you constantly have to mess with the joysticks in order just to get it to stay in a normal stationary mode Good luck in sport mode trying to control the drone and I've been flying drones for over 2 years very disappointed right out of the gate the launch land button started sticking just a poor design but I guess you get what you pay for
