Sky Viper Type-R Racing Drone With Charging Cable and Replacement Propellers

I purchased this drone for my 8 year old son, so I didn't have many expectations. I just wanted it to fly. But to my surprise - my 17 and 23 year old sons enjoy it as well! Great purchase and would definitely recommend!

This Sky Viper Type-R is a fun option for a light-weight fast drone. It can accommodate multiple skill levels including a simple one-touch option for stunts. It is worth noting that there may have been an update to the product as the image currently shows "22 mph top speed" but the description says "speeds past 30 mph" and the product received has box showing "over 30 mph top speed". The drone has an 800 mAh rechargable battery and the remote requires 3 AAA batteries. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.

I'm absolutely loving my Type-R Racing Drone! The speed and agility are insane, and it's so much fun to fly. The drone is super responsive, and the controls are intuitive, making it easy to navigate through tight spaces. The video quality is amazing, and I love the first-person view (FPV) experience it provides. I've been flying it for hours on end, and it's a great way to unwind after a long day of work as a doctor. The build quality is solid, and it's withstood a few crashes without any issues. I was so excited that this product worked nearly right out of the box, from delivery to flying was really quick. The item was so powerful and fast! But, it was a bit hard to learn how to control it. The joysticks aren't the most intuitive. But, once I got the hang of it, I was so impressed by what this little drone could do! So fun!

The SkyViper Type R drone is small but mighty. This thing really takes off! It flies, it flips, it rolls and it's so fun to maneuver the flight pattern with the multi directional controller. This is my first drone and I have had a blast flying it around my yard. Even though I had to emergency land it a couple times because I was worried it was getting away from me, it landed smoothly and without any damage. I can't wait to test it out more and share it with friends.

This product is very user friendly for a beginner. It is also enjoyable for my boyfriend's kids and they love flying it around outside. I liked how fast it went through the sky. Its stunt capabilities were cool and agile. I don't like that the controller is battery powered and not rechargeable.

Not sure if this is a great drone for beginners, but it sure is fun. I can see why they call it a 'performance racing drone' because it is fast and the controls are extremely responsive. I'd suggest getting a model with auto launch/land and return to home if this is your first one. The speed on this one is impressive and the one touch stunts are cool, but it lacks a camera so the fun from this type of drone comes mostly from flying/racing it and not any functionality it will provide.

The plastic is warped after a while. And you need batteries while the time depending on the use and for kids. You have a lot of use. So, batteries don't stand up long.

My first drone took off and flew away uncontrollably. I ordered a second. Shipped via fedex, its now coming 2 days late. Walmart promised next day shipping. I could have drone an hour to and back to purchase the item myself. Terrible delivery service. Questionable drone.

it will not calibrate you constantly have to mess with the joysticks in order just to get it to stay in a normal stationary mode Good luck in sport mode trying to control the drone and I've been flying drones for over 2 years very disappointed right out of the gate the launch land button started sticking just a poor design but I guess you get what you pay for
