I recently bought the Skytech Storm gaming PC, and as a first-time PC owner, I've been really happy with it so far!
Been a week and I already love the PC. Phenomenal job so far and it has been running games on high and ultra on 120 fps on my current titles at the moment. It looks even better than it does in the photo. As a first ever PC Owner I’m glad that I went with this model and specs to play current gen games in the best fps
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First ever PC, easy to assemble and has ran with no problems so far.
The assemblers did a great job putting this rig together - no problems found with seating the connectors or components. I appreciate the quality control cert that came with the unit. The chassis is well engineered. It has a lightly magnetized dust mesh in front of the fans that is easy to clean and maintain. After a session of DE's Warframe the GPU is reporting under 37°C (100°F). That's amazing since the GPU would get up to 70 - 75°C on my prior gaming PC. I freaking love powerful desktop PCs and this delivers.
This PC came as advertised also is able to tackle any game i throw at it with 4k resolution and a consistent 120+fps no matter how demanding the game. This computer had over exceeded my expectations.
The pc is for my 20yr old son,its his first pc.My son works during the week and on weekends he plays Gta Rp and says the pc is excellent and runs 1080p games smoothly with no issues.
Splurge a little more for th 9800xd one. Other wise this machine is freaking fantastic. Beware you will run out of space fast. Im already at 800 gigs left. The good news is that I can add 2 more nvme ssd on here.
Well, on the surface it seems to work fine, however it's very laggy when navigating with mouse. I even changed mouse and it still persists. Keyboard also sticks sometimes and just keeps typing.
Incredible machine, this is my first PC in 20 years. Great quality, looks modern and cool, the only issues I've had were my own fault since I was not aware you were supposed to connect WIFI antennas to get the WIFI to work properly. I also had the video cable connected to the motherboard, not the graphics card. This would have all been explained if it came with some sort of instructions or a video for instructions or something. There was just a quick set up card which is fine for experts. But not myself or anyone at home that had no idea. So yeah, maybe work on that.
More of a 2.5 as games run really well and nicely shipped. But the cooling system is insanely loud to the point where it is annoying to use. Spent hours adjusting settings and nothing seems to help. This happens even when I have nothing open on my PC/during low demand tasks. Also the wifi card cannot connect to my wifi 6 and the wifi 5 connection is pretty bad. I tested on other devices at a similar distance and they all manage a much faster connection on more outdated wifi cards.
