We lost our 1st Skywalkers trampoline in a storm, because we didn't have it anchored down. We immediately ordered another, %26 it has lasted many years later. We just recently replaced it with this one only because we had some really bad high winds recently, %26 the wind destroyed our safety net around it, %26 with the high temps last year %26 severe drought, the sun just destroyed our spring cover. But, the trampoline itself was still in great shape! I have younger children %26 feel more comfortable with a safety net, %26 they didn't make the style net anymore that I needed for my trampoline, so I had to replace it. I did add a basketball goal, ladder, %26 shoe holder to this one, %26 the kids love them. Skywalker is a great quality brand trampoline!
I put off buying a trampoline for my kids for a long time mainly because I was scared of assembly. I am pleased to report that it was one of the easiest things I have ever assembled in my life! I am a petite mom of three kids and I built this alone in two hours. I watched a YouTube video of this trampoline being assembled by Skywalker and never had to open the instruction booklet. The trampoline seems very sturdy and has given me more peace and quiet in my home than I have had in the last eight years. I highly recommend buying this trampoline if you are considering it. $300 well spent! I'm pretty sure that if it blew away next week in a large gust of wind I would order it and assemble it all over again.
This is a nice, large trampoline. Our kids love it. It was easy to put together if you follow the directions and with help only took about 1.5 hours.
The directions are fairly easy to follow at first. It gets challenging once the matt is secured with the springs. We used an impact drill to set the screws . You will need three or four strong people to flip the frame upright . I secured to safety net to the spring that attaches to the matt . I say from Start to Finish was 2 1/2 hours. The “screw driver” that's included is a joke. Use a power drill
Net poles bend very easily. I needed replacement parts a week after I set it up. Having trouble finding the correct ones to replace. Otherwise the trampoline is perfect! Large enough for the kids to enjoy together.
The trampoline is wonderful now that it is set up but we ran into two problems in the process. First, one of the t-joints was warped to the point where you couldn't fit the poles inside. And then after you get the netting up there are plugs that go in the end of the tubing to prevent the sharp metal corners from showing and to prevent burrowing insects from making a home-they sent ones that were too little in size. Walmart helped resolve these issues to the best of their ability, but they could not send out replacement parts that is what we wanted/needed as this was a Christmas present.
After putting it together, we realized 2 springs were missing. We will now try and contact the seller to get 2 more springs. Overall it's a great trampoline but it was missing parts.
We haven't even been using it for 2 months, and it already has a hole. Our old trampoline lasted us almost 4 years.
Im sure this trampoline would be amazing but the metal pieces that came with it dont fit together! The silver poles that are supposed to fit into the sockets wont go inside bc they are almost the same opening size. The pole needs to be smaller or the socket opening needs to be bigger! If theres something Im doing wrong, would love to learn what it is!
We put up this trampoline, and 5 days later the net enclosure collapsed. We live in the Midwest so we knew we had to secure the trampoline with ground anchors so it didn't take off in any wind. However, we didn't count on the net collapsing. The poles on the het enclosure bent in a mild rain storm. Each pole is individually placed unlike some trampolines that have u- shaped poles for the net. The u-shaped poles provide more support. Poor design on this one.. Don't buy this trampoline unless you live somewhere with no wind. Net enclosure is junk
