we have had several trampolines and we had this one prior. made it 6 years through tons of kids, water and weather. we bought a different brand larger one and its already tearing after a year so i went with this one again as it lasted us 6 years with rough conditions. would buy this brand over and ober again
Trampoline for grandsons has been the biggest hit. The boys - 5 and 7 years old - put the trampoline together. It was a learning feat. Fully read the instructions and lay out the parts in order. The frame is a cinch. My mistake was I failed to connect the safety net to the springs with the hooks properly. Be sure to slow down and precisely follow. The opening entrance meds to align properly also. The second day after redoing that part, we were able to finish up and jump jump jump! The boys love the basketball net with the three balls. It is hours of fun. The boys can get rowdy, the safety net is a lifesaver! We are so happy!
The first trampoline we bought was too big for our yard and it gave me anxiety just being out there, so we took it back and got the smaller trampoline. Both my girls, 13 and 10 can play on it at the same time. I am 5'6" and I can lay across the trampoline without my feet or head touching it. My husband weighs 220 and has played on it too. It does not need a ladder and is easy to set-up.
My son who is 5'6" and weighs 160 pounds loves to jump. We were going through the small indoor trampolines one a year. I don't know how long this one will last, but I will say that he loves it! We have it inside and he is on it all afternoon until bedtime. It was easy to put together, but I needed help with the springs, they take a little muscle. Also you want to be sure that you line up the net with the poles or you may have to take all the springs out and start again.
We love this trampoline. I put it together by myself which I was really surprised by. Im a mom. The hardest part was the springs for sure. I used a great tip by another reviewer to put on every third spring all the way around and then fill in the rest but it was still hard to do the second half of the trampoline. I sat on the ground with my feet pushing against the legs while pulling the spring into place with the spring puller. The trampoline is well made with no pinchy fingers and the blue color is much nicer in person...its a very dark blue bordering violet. I am 150 lbs and have been jumping with both kids who weight a total of 45 lbs. The trampoline is very bouncy and fun!! My 4 year old made a game where they lay on the trampoline and pretend they are scrambled eggs and I have to bounce them in the frying pan. Its pretty fun.
Bought this trampoline based on great reviews. I had a larger trampoline that was no longer safe to jump on. I liked the larger size but it took up way too much space in the backyard. Because only smaller kids (ages 2 to 5) jump on it, I decided to go with the smaller size. I think it is the perfect size for them although, if you ask the kids, I think they prefer the larger jumping area of the bigger trampoline. Definitely like that the kids can get in and out by themselves since it's lower to the ground. It was really easy to put together. (Note: make sure you line up the zipper of the enclosure with the leg otherwise your enclosure will be twisted & you'll have to remove all the springs & put them back on again the right way. There's a drawing to show you but we missed it.) It would probably be a good idea to buy some anchors for it. Right now we just have bags of soil holding it down. Love that we got free shipping to home.
Wanted to get my boys a trampoline for Christmas, but was on a budget. All the trampolines I could find were around $300. I found this one for $140 through Walmart.com, so we purchased it. It is very nice quality, but it is smaller and shorter than I thought it would be. However, my boys are 5 & 7 years old and the love it. They can both fit on it and jump at the same time. The other less pricy trampolines I found had a weight limit of 100lbs. My boys together are around 130lbs, and this trampoline holds them just fine. My husband and I have even gotten on it with them and it's very sturdy. It's a great deal especially since it comes with the netting and the shipping was free! I couldn't even find a deal this good on a used trampoline on Craig's list. It took my husband and his friend about 1&1/2 hours to put it together. He said it wasn't hard to do. I would recommend this to anyone with younger children. It's the best bang for your buck.
The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because I did not receive the screws necessary to put the trampoline together initially, but a quick call to the company and I had them a few days later. Also, the directions are a bit vague and we ended up having to take the trampoline springs off to reposition the surface when we assembled it. Other than those minor issues, it has been a great purchase. I have 2 girls (almost 2 and 4) and they can both jump on this together with no problem. We have even had 3 kids on it (that is the maximum I will allow) under the ages of 10 and there is little problem with them running into each other on it. My kids love it and the netting makes me feel very secure about their safety. I would recommend this product. I have only had it for a week so I cannot speak to the durability of the trampoline, since it is outdoors and we live in a cold winter climate, we will see how it holds up.
Before buying this I read several reviews and noticed a trend - make sure you follow instructions through by the book or you will have to take apart and do over. Well we followed instructions by the book and still ended up having to take it apart. We were ready to assemble the poles to attach the net and realized the net did not line up. It is attached to the trampoline so when attaching it you have to be sure the net lines up with the poles. It's almost like you need to put the poles in tie the net to the top and let them lay as you attach the springs. After you get that on straight it's easy from that point. We love the trampoline, it's perfect for our 2 year old & has plenty of room for a couple other people to jump with her as well.
We received a trampoline that had previously been open. There were parts missing to build the base for the trampoline. Springs were thrown all over in the box. I contacted customer service…They said they would have another tramp sent. It never showed up with two different dates being told it would arrive. I ended up cancelling the order and I'm still waiting for my money back. It was supposed to be for my daughter's birthday. It was a mess and I would not recommend buying!! I had to contact customer service 4 different times.
