When I bought a new refrigerator, it didn't have a horizontal handlebar that I could use for my dish towel. This item is a "must have."

This is actually what I was looking for, works great! Keeps my kitchen towel hung out of the way.

If rod is opened to full stated length it bows in the middle. If not needed to expand too much then rod will perform as needed. Magnetic strength on a metal door is excellent. The end cap (finial) is glued to the rod which may not matter to some. Overall a very nice product which does what it's designed to do.

I'm using this as a towel holder on my fridge, and you have to be careful putting towels back on, as it is too easy to pull one end away or down, potentially dropping the towels.
