After getting used to the sweetner taste - took a couple cans- its a great substitute for anyone who has lactose intolerance and wants a chocolate drink with zero sugar.

I have had slate before, but only in chocolate. This time I ordered some French Vanilla to try. I must say it's a tie. They both taste great. I drink them between light meal to curtail hunger and keep the fuse burnin for the lb's to drop off. Plenty of protein for instant action. Just plain old good stuff.

This has been a key part of my health and weight loss journey. I usually drink one first thing in the morning and let it serve as a meal replacement (full disclosure - I've never been big on breakfast anyway, so it's not like that was a huge sacrifice). But it's all I need until lunch time. And it's delicious. It's honestly hard NOT to just chug it. It goes down just like chocolate milk and tastes about the same. And no gastro issues like a lot of proteins cause. If you're thinking about it, go ahead and give it a try.

I use these later in the day for a treat because they don't have caffein. My favorite flavor are actually the mocha latte but I use them in the morning to afternoon. I've been on a Keto/Carnivore diet for the last 2 years and these have become a great alternative to energy drinks and protein shakes. My one ask is can you make a more Keto version and swap out the skim milk for straight heavy cream! :) I add heavy cream to mine to up the fat content and wow is it good :) Reduce the carbs a little more and you've got a knockout product here.

This has served as my morning chocolate milk, evening dessert/sweet treat, and post workout recovery. Love these and always have a supply. The Carmel latte, vanilla and vanilla latte go really really great in my coffee too. Slate has saved me a fortune on drive through iced coffee just by enhancing my coffee.

My son is lactose intolerant. We had the hardest time finding lactose free protein drinks that were healthy and also tasted good. It has been a year since we started drinking these and my son has grown over 11 inches in one year! Everyone is asking what I'm feeding him and the only thing we added was Slate. Highly recommend. Great source of protein for the kids on the go!!

This slim can is not your typical chocolate milk. The nutrition label had everything I was looking for: a good calcium to protein ratio with clean ingredients in a low calorie drink. The taste is the best chocolate milk protein shake I've ever tasted, creamy and rich, with just enough, and not too much, sweetness. I tried several single cans, then ordered a 24 pack on a subscription basis. Excellent product delivered quickly. I also like supporting a smaller company with a clear mission.

It tastes like burnt coffee. Not a hint of actual chocolate taste. And the taste is only outdone by the odd texture of this "milk". Save your money, skip this disgusting supposed milk.
