USE IT MORE THAN I THOUGHT I WOULD
I use this more than I realize! Its great for tape, letters, those strange flimsy envelopes packages come in, even packing tape with a few strokes. I like the peace of mind that I minimize damage to anything that may be in the packaging. For the price, its a great tool to keep around the house. I also love the inner magnet that keeps it tucked away when stored.

Great gifts
I bought 12 of these because of the positive review in Good Housekeeping magazine. I gave them as an extra gift to my daughters and grand-daughters as an extra Christmas gift. One started using it to help open the rest of her family's gifts and loved it. Another already had an old one and was glad to get a new one as the old one had seen better days. I didn't get to keep one for myself.

Cutter: small, powerful, versatile, convenient.
Small but powerful, the cutter performs well on cardboard boxes, packing tape, and those darned heavy plastic coated unwieldy items that are impossible to open without bleeding. Plus, it fits nicely in my drawer! Bought enough for my best friends and daughters.

Just ok
The item is very small. I like that you can keep it on the refrigerator as it is magnetized. If you are using it to cut wrapping paper, you will need to put a cutting board or something under it or you will put gashes into your table top.
