SLIDERS - Complete 15 DVD Set
Watched this program regularly on TV over 20 years ago. I had all the episodes recorded on VHS tapes. Needless to say, the kids recorded over the tapes, and many of the episodes were lost. The show then ended. I thought sure some network would pick the series up in syndication, but that never happened. Luckily I found this complete series in a box set. The set is a 15 disc set . Definitely worth the money!

Sliders, the complete series on DVD
Sliders, the complete series '95-2000, is a slick series all about possibilities! In the age of ever evolving high tech developments, it poses the question "What if?". After several episodes highlighting character development, you are just about ready to "suspend disbelief", which is the goal of every actor and actress; "Forget who I really am, and focus on me becoming the character that I'm playing"! The cast does a good job of it, as their adventures take them to parallel worlds..... the same Earth, but in different dimensions. Quite an entertaining concept, in an ever evolving series. Kari Wuhrer was a TOTAL asset to the cast, as their adventures called for a stronger, yet totally feminine presence. I only wish the series could have ran another several years!

Bought this for my wife who loved the series and was sad to see it end. Now we watch Sliders on Sunday nite. I am becoming a fan myself. Good way to relax and have enjoy a good, fun show. Good quality dvds. Only downside is no English subtitles.

Sliders made the multiverse cool first
What interested me about the series back in the day, when it aired on Syfy (Sci-Fi back then) channel was how each earth they landed on was different and really made you think "What if?" What if history took a different turn? This show answered this question in a lot of entertaining ways. The multiverse is a topic that's pretty relevant at the moment, in movies and television. This show is a good fix for those of us interested in that and each episode tells a good story. Truly an underrated gem.

EPISODES IN WRONG ORDER
EPISODES ARE ALL IN THE WRONG ORDER After Season 1 all the other seasons have all the episodes in absolutely the wrong order. They are just a jumbled mess. Thankfully for the -most- part they do not tie into each other but for those that are tied into each other you have to play jump about on the dvds in order to watch them in order. Absolutely terrible, how did they mess up so badly I wonder?
