This item is pricey, but hard to find in my rural area. We tried less expensive options, but none "stuck"! We used this to hold a wooden countertop to our washer and dryer. We love our new countertop space and the pads hold on tight and tough so there is no rattle or worry that it will slide off.
They work well! They stick well to my recliner and garbage bin and keep those from sliding. You can cut them to fit. They were having trouble sticking to the bottom of my bed frame legs but some super glue fixed that and they do work; they keep my bed from sliding and I'm happy.
I use them for a small sofa on laminate flooring. After applying the pads on all legs of the sofa that sofa did not move! I would definitely recommend.
I put some of these on the bottom of my recliner, which kept sliding around on the hardwood floor, and now the recliner doesn't move across the floor.
Slipstick pads are very easy to apply, and are obviously very rugged. We used them to prevent sliding of granite slabs used as 2 drawer file cabinet tops. The granite is heavy (1 1/4 inch thick) but the cabinet tops and the granite are slick, resulting in significant sliding whenever anyone leans or pushes on them. These pads bear the heavy weight with no problem, and absolutely stop all movement. A super product.
I must admit I was a little hesitant at first but work better than expected. I also like the fact that you can actually cut them down if need to be! I would definitely recommend these if you're having difficulty with Furniture sliding around on hardwood floors.
I discovered these and we moved into our current home which has wood floors. These are heavy duty and adhesivestick great on the bottom bottoms of chairs and sofas and tables. They have saved my beautiful wood floors , all my furniture glides across the floor effortlessly.
The pads did what they were supposed to do, but I couldn't move my chairs without picking them up off the floor. I wanted pads that would last longer and be able to glide back and forth. That did not happen. They were very difficult to slide across the floor, which was a surprise to me. I ended up pulling them all of the bottoms of my dining table chairs and replaced these with felt stickers for chairs. I'm not sure what you could use these for unless it was to hold something in place and rarely move it. That's not useful for dining room chairs with a family.
When I first installed these grips on the bottom of my furniture they seemed like they were going to be great and hold my furniture in place without any problems! A week later and they are no longer keeping my furniture in place and have even stopped adhering altogether.
These things barely stick at all and stop nothing from sliding. They just slip or roll off of the legs of anything I've put them on as soon as any pressure at all is applied to the furniture.
