I have used twice and it works well. No funny taste the second time around. Make sure you have the right level of sugar so it freezes well. My children really like the results.

My slushy machine arrived broken. None of the buttons work making it useless. It also arrived without an instruction manual making it 👿 to troubleshoot! For the kind of money that I spent and this was supposed to be a gift, I am beyond disappointed and dissatisfied. On top of everything, I now have to return it and buy another one.

It only lasted a week and then quit freezing. From day 1, the front panel kept falling off. I won't waste money on this one again.
