The guinea pigs leave much less waste with this hay. And even though I only have two piggies, it comes in a sturdy box that opens at one end so you can tip it into the enclosure or pull out what you need and close the box. My piggies absolutely adore this hay! Ive been ordering it for about 6 months or so. The box lasts forever! I have 5 piggies and at one point two litters of babies and we did not run out of hay all month! The hay is always high quality and very fresh and green. The piggies hate when they have to have other brands so I always try to keep it coming.
It's a good quality hay. However, usually the 2nd cutting of hay is a bit softer. This hay, while still good, seemed like it was more like 1st cutting of hay, which is stiffer. This batch was a bit too stiff. I have purchased Small Pet Select in the past and was very satifisfied with it. One of my guinea pigs is very picky about the hay she eats.

Alot of brown hay. First time buyer. Oxbow 20lb is bagged and boxed and much nicer hay
