Best Season Ever

SuperfanforLife July 21, 2008

Despite the season finale being a small letdown, Season 7 is the best. It just about completes the Superman saga (yet to get his costume). It reveals Kara (Supergirl), Lara (Kal-El's mother), Bizarro, and the return of Milton Fine (Brainiac). Other Superman alumni appear, in this season. Dean Cain (Lois and Clark) appears as an immortal doctor. Marc McClure (Jimmy Olsen; of Superman:The Movie), as a fellow Kryptonian Dax-Ur. Helen Slater (Supergirl:The Movie), rounds it out as Lara. The surprising/dark horse cast member, is Laura Vandervoort. Her performance as the future Supergirl stood out with me. Recently learning she would only be back, as a Season 8 guest star; was somewhat disappointing. (She's working on a movie career). Fellow fans loving her performance, makes this purchase another must. While not revealing the disappointing ending, the rest of the episodes make up for it. Makes you look forward to season 8 (possible final season).

Greatest show ever...

supermanfan23 December 24, 2008

I may be a bit biased on my review because I love all things Superman and I'm a huge comic book reader as well. But this show is really amazing. It's funny that the show doesn't get the publicity it should. Although, it's had it's bad moments as every show does...as a whole seasons 1-7 (season 8 is on CW now) is extraordinary. I've watched the show since it's start in 2001 and at the time I was in high school...just as Clark Kent on the show in Smallville, so I could relate in many ways. Looking back on that now...I see how the show has underlying great values and morals, learning from your mistakes, and knowing that you have a destiny on the earth. The show kept me out of trouble as teen. Now that the show is in it's 8th season...it has really grew up as the characters has grew up. I recommend this show to all ages. You won't be disappointed.

A Great Season!

Yellowdude October 5, 2008

This Season dives even deeper in what we know as Superman. This is an Awesome Season! If you like Superman, you need to buy Season Seven of Smallville. And don't forget the First 6 Seasons of Smallville as well! Watch a Young Clark Kent mature and become the Superman we know today! Not only to we watch a young Superman grow up and make decisions that hurt or help him, but we also get see a Young Lex Luthor become the Evil Villian and Arch-Enemy of Superman. In Season Four Lois Lane is inroduced, and Jimmy Olsen is introduced in Season Six! If your like Superman, then you're gonna love Smallville! Just Trust Me!

20 episodes is good.

Ronin777 September 22, 2008

Despite the writer's strike they were still able to do 20 episodes. With the addition of Kara, (Supergirl), this season has been one of my favorite. Lex Luthor gets darker, Lana and Clark get together finally, and more answers to questions are revealed.

Big Fan/Great price

MovieCrazed November 15, 2008

I shopped numerous sites every year to find the best price for this series. Walmart always has the best price. I have seen it for over $20.00 more on other sites. I work for another major retail store and our prices are always alot higher even after my discount.

Awesome

mdugan January 10, 2010

My husband is a huge fan of the show since it premiered in 2001. He had every season except for this one and one other so I got them for him for Christmas. They arrived on time and in perfect condition.

the product was great, the only problem was when i opened the dvd case, one of the dvd was loose and a little sratched but it works fine, and there wasnt to much padding to cover the product like last time i bought one, other than that it showed up faster than i thought and was great, thank you.

Is a great TV show and great value for the price. Too bad when it came the box was damaged and dvd's were loose and had scratches on them!! Other than that way cheaper than Best Buy!
