Smart Balance Original Buttery Spread, 15 oz Tub

I used to joke around and say that original Smart Balance tastes more like butter than butter does. But it is no joke. It really does. It is the best tasting of all the buttery spreads that I have tried. If it keeps your cholesterol in check, it has an extra bonus. I have been using original Smart Balance buttery spread for years. The price isn't bad either.

I love the product. It is also great for baking. I ordered the large containers. Instead of two large tubs the shopper brought seven little ones. I was totally out of the item and cannot shop. I rely on delivery. Also, the wasted plastic is awful. Try to keep more of the larger tubs in the store.

SMART BALANCE ORIGINAL BUTTERY SPREAD, TASTES GOOD AND IS SOFTER TO SPREAD ON BREAD. IT ALSO COMES WITH LOWER SODIUM AND EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL. I USE IT INSTEAD OF BUTTER. EVEN CAN SAUTE VEGGIES IN IT ON TOP OF STOVE. IT DOES TASTE DIFFERENT FROM REAL BUTTER. ALL OLEOS HAVE A DIFFERENT TASTE FROM EACH OTHER. YOU GET USED TO USING WHATEVER ONE YOU DECIDE ON.

I love creamy texture.when it melt. The olive oil is amazing in it I based my thanksgiving turkey with it sticking it inside the skin and over the turkey then seasoning it turned out golden brown and very moist wasn't oily was just right. Planning to do the same with my Christmas turkey. The lid keeps the margarine fresh. I use it to cook my eggs it melts great and leaves my eggs moist

Smart Balance is a great substitute for butter. My cholesterol is sky high and this spread helps me have some control of my cholesterol. Plus it taste good. I rather get more control over my health than worry about chemicals. I have an artery that has hardened cholesterol and the heart doctor said it is as hard as a rock. so he cannot fix that.

It makes plain carrots and potatoes have more flavor than just any oridarary butter.I have always loved the taste of this butter,it was just too expensive to use a tablespoon each time. Now,I use very little of this butter and it's enough.

i was given this as an alternative when I was in the hospital a couple of months ago. Normally i use unsalted sweet cream butter. I'm not sure if the latter is any healthier than this. Maybe someone can save me some time and compare the two products please and post about it.

Frankly, this is the only non-butter item Walmart sells that is half-way decent. It contains canola oil, which is ok, but it also contains palm oil, which is not. It has very little olive oil, which would be a better main ingredient. As I said, I use it because it is the best Walmart has to offer.

I like the taste of this! But I can't use it on everything! It gets very hard in the fridge!! So it is NOT easy to spread! It will rip bread %26 even toast! I do like it on bagels! But I hate how hard it is! So I use another kind most of the time! It's a shame, cause I'd use it more if it wasn't so hard!!

The taste is good the only problem I have is you can't spread it it's hard and it doesn't smooth out it just stays in a clump so it makes a very difficult unless you're using it to bake with or melted before you use it. I myself will not buy it again. I will go back to what I was using before.
