Smart Balance Original Buttery Spread, 45 oz Tub

I only eat this product, but recently via prime I ordered from a market that did not carry this, so I took a chance on a popular alternative. I hope what I previously purchased is garbage disposal safe. As for this product, I promise it tastes just like butter. Love it

I only buy smart balance because you can spread the butter. I like something you can spread instead of just having a big hunk of butter on your bread. I always buy this just because it's taste good it's easy to open. I refrigerate it sometimes and sometimes I don't either way it doesn't matter and most of the time I like to try to find the large container cause the small one seems to be a little pricier than the large one. It's very good better.

this is our only butter alternative. we have a dairy issue in our home and it's healthier than using butter anyway. it's great on toast as well as any cooking applications. I don't use it to bake too often, but it does well enough. Not good for frosting at all. It has salt, so I always eliminate salt in a recipe when using it.

We have been using Smart balance for a while now, the thing that changed our minds and brought us to this product is the fact that the bulk of the product is fats... and hasn't been watered down like the others making it much better for cooking and even toast... I hate soggy toast and that is what you wind up with by using other brands. I'm sorry I don't think water should be in margarine....empty calories and without the fat.. it increases the sense of hunger.

This is great for baking sauteing your eggs or any kind of sauteing I started using it because they were putting it on the trays when you have to stay in the hospital and I noticed that it does help with your cholesterol It doesn't make your cholesterol go higher as much as other brands

This is amazing in taste, spread ability. flavor, color, and pricing also. I was unable to find the variety in a tub made with something other than olive oil (prefer to have avocado oil) but I'm managing. I find the sticks with avocado oil. This is such an excellent alternative spread.

You can definitely find cheaper items in the butter isle, but this one doesn't contain many of the allergens others do, like dairy or soy. We began buying this product because my kid has many food allergies, and we needed a safe product that didn't contain any of those. Then we began using it for us, too, because it is healthier for our hearts with 0g of cholesterol. This has a great taste. In fact, my wife has come to prefer it over other spreads or butters. it speads and melts easily and works well in baked goods. It's a great product because it's a healthier alternative and allergy friendly.

I love this butter - it's so creamy and rich, but it has such a light taste. It's got a very smooth texture. Very good to cook with and also good for bread, toast, vegetables - whatever needs butter. They have one made partially with olive oil that is even better, if everyone in your family can have it. if not, buy the regular one as a big tub and the smaller tub for the olive oil one. very good.

I do hope you get this item back in stock ASAP as it is the only "butter" I can eat per my doctor's advice....I have been ordering it for years and this is the only time ever item has not been available . It was not available the last order so I waited and re-ordered only to be told "not available" again. Please check on this as I am 81yr old totally disabled , home bound and depend on walmart delivery for all my supplies, food, etc.!

Have been using this butter alternative now over 10 years. It tastes the same as butter to us, and helps lower cholesterol at the same time. Does not have that waxy texture as so many margarines do. Give it a try! We think you will not be sorry you did.
