If you want something thin for your iPad to just kind of cover the screen when you're not using it and provide some protection to prevent scratches on the back then this case will work for you. It's not going to give you much protection if you drop it so keep that in mind. Since it's the official apple smart folio the quality is decent and fits well and the magnets are strong. It's a bit overpriced for what you get, but that kind of sums up most things Apple. Third party folios similar to this are a lot cheaper, but a lot of times they have magnets that aren't that strong so your iPad has a good chance of slipping out and leading to disaster.

The SmartFolio case works well for an iPad. The price is a little high for what you get, and it can discolor overtime. Overall, it is a solid purchase if you want to stay within the Apple ecosystem.
