Smart Outdoor Camera Installation (Up to 2)

I ordered a tech installation service through the Walmart app that was fulfilled by HelloTech. The technician initially came out and said additional cables were needed, so I purchased them as instructed. When he returned to finish the job, he unexpectedly demanded an additional $150 that had never been mentioned and was not part of my order. I questioned the charge, and the payment was requested directly by the technician rather than through the service platform. I later reported it, but the company said the technician claimed I agreed to it, which is not accurate. Just sharing so others are aware to confirm all charges in advance and make sure any payments go through the official system.

Supposed to install two cameras but after the tech didn't show up for the first 3 scheduled appointments and calling to have them escalate the 4th appointment he finally shows up but says he can only install one camera cause that's what the work order said and he can't even create or modify a work order. The interesting thing was we was willing to pay whatever to get it done but the tech was lazy and put the one camera up which took all of 5 minutes and said I could install it myself and left.

Baher did a great job with mounting outdoor cameras so that it limited the viewing to areas of interest.

She was a little late but did call in advance and apologized. She was professional and competent. Even redid wiring in the chime box for my nest hello. She paid attention to detail and offered some insight on camera placement for my Arlo system. We talked about our families in the downtime and felt as if I had known her for years!

Hank is a great technician for HelloTech. He spends extra time explaining the best solutions and options by asking about the problem area. Instead of another Ring doorbell, he installed the Ring Stick-up camera. Looks like it is going to be a better option for monitoring the back of my home.

Gabriel was outstanding in his work and experience knew exactly what he was doing and very experienced in cameras. I've worked with other companies but Gabriel makes a superb difference. I would definitely recommend Gabriel as a leader from experiencing his strength and workmanship!!!

Tech was friendly enough, but did not have the tools or equipment to perform the install properly. Also, the tech did not wear a face covering at any time he was here, which blows my mind with the pandemic happening. Also, according to your phone menu, there was no need for me to modify my service for an additional camera. It stated that I could tell the tech and my additional camera could be installed. That was not the case. I was told by the tech that I would have to schedule an additional service install, so you basically lied on your phone menu. Additionally, the first service tech scheduled didn't even show up or call, so my install was delayed a day. My sister used HelloTech for her camera install and was shown how to use the system after it was installed. That didn't happen with my install. I am very disappointed with your service.

This was my third try at getting the right cameras. Jerene told me about the right ones, and I know that he was a blessing right from the beginning. I was so excited to know that he was available to do the instillation. He knew went right to work, explaining everything. He explained everything and showed me how to work everything. So polite, so informative. I'm so grateful and appreciative. He is a great asset to your company.

Great experience and professional service. I really needed a professional opinion before any setup and I was glad Dan was paired with me. He was honest, knowledgeable, and passionate. I originally wanted to do a camera, doorbell, and thermostat install but ultimately decided on just the thermostat install. It was done quick and clean. I've decided to go with other products but I know who I am going to call back for that install.

Charles did a fantastic job installing the cameras even though my house was NOT suited for the cameras. Not only did he come up with a technical solution to solve my problem, he followed up with it and made it work. He was very courteous and professional the whole time even though it was a long job. I'm very happy with the work he did and very thankful.
