This product is very complete, I love it

I bought this for my husband who is trying to get in shape. Sometimes it can be very frustrating to do everything you should with diet and exercise, but not see the numbers on the scale going down. Usually it's because muscle weights more than fat so it's very helpful to be able to see your body fat percentage as well. I downloaded the app and played around with it for a bit, but I don't think it is necessary for us. If you want to connect it to a fit bit or something then you need the app. He was able to see everything he wanted by just looking at the display window.

If you're just looking for a scale to only weigh yourself, don't buy this scale. It's programmed to weigh in KG instead of pounds. In order to change over to pounds, you're required to use their website to set up the scale for each individual using the scale. I usually don't have trouble following instructions but I found this site very difficult. I am returning the scale and will buy a non-smart scale instead.

Way too complicated. You may be someone who wants their scale to communicate with their cell phone, but I just wanted to watch my weight.
