Smartab 7" 16GB Tablet Android OS - Black - ST7150

Rating this as a budget tablet and not a top of the line model. Lots of complaints about speed. Ads were killing mine so I downloaded an ad blocking browser from the play store and speed is now acceptable. I'm not saying it blinding speed but it is acceptable to me after the download. Made a big difference. Screen and sound are ok for this price range. Keeping in mind what it cost. I picked this up to have something to throw in the truck of camper to use for a little browsing and it is fine for that purpose. I would buy it again.

Great little tablet. Some of the other reviews are picky, picky, etc. If it freezes just reset it with a paperclip. This is a wonderful tablet for watching movies!

You definitely get what you pay for. I bought this to help with my son's learning. We've had it for about three weeks now and use it three days a week for school. It's strictly been used for learning. I downloaded eight apps onto for preschool learning, nothing major, and two apps won't even load (when you open the apps they just sit there loading). I've had the screen go black in the middle of using it a few times now and then go to the home screen. The camera take super low quality pictures on our nature walks. And the battery doesn't hold a charge for anything. For the money spent and what we use it for I can deal with the inconveniences, but I wouldn't buy one again.

Please don't buy it. I was excited about the Black Friday price and bought it for my little sister. It won't stay connected to wifi, if you set an alarm for today.. it won't go off , the camera quality is very bad as well. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt after reading other reviews, but. They proverb to be true.

There's one good thing about this tablet and that's the 16GB memory. Has room for many apps. The flaws on this tablet make me wish I had spent a bit more on a better unit. When you first turn this thing on you will notice the slowest start up on a tablet imaginable. Takes over a minute for this thing to boot up. I just ran a timer on it and took 1:29 to boot up. The video quality is not great, fairly grainy. The system operates very slow and can get frustrating when it's not responding. The battery life is as bad as it gets. I get maybe two hours playing a game before it shuts down. Battery saver doesn't seem to make any difference at all, seriously. When using this thing it gets so hot you can cook breakfast on the backside. So all in all it was a cheap tablet my expectations were low but I was still disappointed.

This is a TERRIBLE PRODUCT, I bought it so I could see my grandson but it has no wifi, and it's picture is smaller than my phone, I bought it for this Covid 19 time and I'm going to return it

I purchased 2 of these tablets . One lasted a month and the second lasted about 2 months. Not worth the money

This tablet is super slow. I was keeping my expectations very low because it's only a $28 device and yet it's still failed to meet these extremely low expectations. Using this device is an exercise in frustration. Most of the time is spent looking at a white screen and waiting for it to catch up.

Within 3 hours of opening and setting up, it won't stay connected to the WiFi. Appears to be overheating. I called Tech Support 800# included in the package and they said (after being on hold for 20 minutes) --"Please call back tomorrow, our systems are down".

Not sure how the folks at SmarTab 7 did it... but their hardware design (on Android OS 7) is about the slowest tablet I have ever used. Not sure if the chipset is the blame (or something else). It is almost unusable :-) ... Not even worth the $28 Black Friday price. I will be taking it back for refund to Walmart tomorrow.
