have been using this brand for years. very good quality and have not had any failed burns with these discs.

I've worked with CD-R, DVD-R, and (in more recent years) BD-R discs of all brands since the mid-90's, and I know junk when I see it. While Smartbuy is not a premium brand, these discs are consistently reliable and hold up well over time. They won't test as highly as other more expensive brands, but for what they are, they are pretty good. Failure rate is negligible and exceptional for a standard retail disc. I use these for high quality video and audio and they deliver flawlessly nearly every time. They work well in my desktop drives and BluRay player with rarely any issues. Probably not recommended for archival applications, but for general use, you're not likely to find better overall quality at this price point.

These disks were purchased to place videos on. So far there has been no problems with them. I have not had them long enough to know how stable the dies are so there is no comment on using them for long term archival.

For the most part the disks are good. about 4 disks out of 50 worked fine. The others would not write or verify.. I have used other brands from ebay, and they had a worsr failure rate. Still The bad disks add to the price I am paying, so my rating is not great. I also do not like the pie plate containers.

Only problem was 2 disk were damaged and they need to put more packing because shipper is bad about handling (had a crunch on the shipping container that cracked the case and damaged the 2 disk) overall still a good deal

I've used the blue Smartbuy 25gb 6x blu-ray disks multiple times with fantastic success but these white ones have not been good. I've had to throw out a bunch of them because they just stop recording. This happened on several different PCs.

DID NOT WORK

Decided to take a chance and try this brand of blank blu-rays but after starting off good with only a few coasters with the first 25 discs I burned the second half of the spindle was mostly coasters. I get 1 good burn for every 4 or 5 discs. I wont buy this brand again shouldve listened to my gut cheaper is never better. The fail rate is way too high even for $20
