SmartCode 270 Tradition Touchpad w/SmartKey Security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This automatic keycode lock was easy to install on my front door. Took me about 30 minutes total. Programming your personal code was very easy. The matching door handle is sold separately. So please make sure you purchase that along with the locking mechanism. I also have this same lock at our secondary home and the batteries last usually about 18 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice feature filled digital deadbolt. Install is pretty straightforward with a simple screwdriver as long as you don't need to drill the hole for a deadbolt. Make sure you have 4 AA batteries when you are installing as they are not included. Programming codes is pretty straightforward and you can program more codes than you'll every need including 1 time use codes. Battery life is pretty decent as well depending on usage. Overall a solid product if you don't need or want smartphone access.

This is the easiest deadbolt lock to install for myself a senior Lady. It fits the 1 1/2 borehole of my door that so many others would not. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. As for programing, that was a breeze too! First open the door and have the lock in lock position, hit the check mark ✅ put in code 4 numbers or more, and then check mark again ✅ you should get a green flashing light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Kwikset - SmartCode 270 in satin nickel to replace a stand deadbolt on my house. the lock was pretty easy and straight forward to install if you are handy with tools. I really like that can easily add and delete codes as needed. I love the 1 year battery life and the smartkey function so I don't have to add another key.

It is easy to set up with user codes and you can have multiple user codes for multiple users and even one-time use codes as well. The lock be used both manually and via the dial pad. So far I like everything about this product except one thing: It is super simple to add a new code from the inside, so in theory anyone who enters the house can add a new user code and no one would know. That is a security issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic lock. Smooth and doesn't require Wi-Fi. So easy to rekey and install. Doesn't require any technical knowledge and goes in place of existing deadbolt. I put grease on my fingers and still couldn't see the fingerprints.

I love the ease of use and also knowing I won't get locked out. We have given the code to our some family to have in case we are gone. The lock looks nice as well!

I wanted this one for a rental that I own and it works great. Guests are able to get in and out and it is very durable. Hopefully no one tries to break in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Kwikset smart door lock. This was very easy to install myself and the instructions were easy to follow. I really like being able to unlock the door without a key. This also makes it easy for my kids to come in when I'm not home and they forget their keys. I'm very happy with this lock.
