SmartGames Penguins on Ice - A Sliding Cognitive Skill-Building Puzzle Game for Ages 6 - Adult

Bought for five year old grandson. He wanted to play again after the first game, having modified the game play a bit. The rules are a little too sophisticated for his comprehension just yet but we like that the game has extended longevity as he grows into it.

Good for kids to sharpen their skills, expensive though.

My grandson wanted this for Christmas + enjoyed playing with it + others playing with him.

This is a deceptively cute little game with the sole intent to develop children's brains. My 1st and 2nd graders loved the penguins and did not even realize they were working on learning about spatial relationships and logic. The adults who played it loved it as well. It is well constructed and fun!

Can you keep your cool when you play PENGUINS ON ICE? It is such a fun game. We had an opportunity to play it at a Tryazon Teacher Party and both teachers and students thought it was really CHILL! Everyone wanted to take it home. We also had a chance to try out Quadrillion, Color Code and Trucky3 all logic games made by SmartGamesUSA. Teachers were clamoring to get a chance to play and students were all up to the challenge. Several students commented that the games made them "Think"! Isn't that what we want them to do in a game? 5 stars for SmartGames USA games!

Got this for free as part of a tryazon party, kids at the party loved this game they figured out how to make the pieces move in order to make everything fit. One little boy was so excited that he actually got the last piece into the puzzle. This is a really great game to get kids thinking and using their brains. It helps them have fun and to learn.

This was a great game to play with ages 5 and up. It was sometimes hard to know where to slide the penguins up and down but my students had fun playing with it. It was great to practice problem solving and patience. One of my students favorite games once they got the hang of it!

We homeschool and are always looking for fun educational games that promote STEM and cognitive skills. Penguins on ice is super fun but also really challenging. There are five puzzle pieces that can be shifted around and you have to find the right shape and place it on the board. Also putting in the Penguins where they indicated on your challenge card. The challenge cards go from easy to expert. As your child grows and really builds those critical thinking skills they'll be able to pick up the difficulty of their challenges. The game says six to adult and I agree with over 80 challenges this can even be done by adults. This is a one player game and they can take as long as they need! Really builds up there concentration and when they do get it solved, the joy is priceless! My daughter absolutely loves penguins on ice.

Everyone loves Penguins, this is true, including Penguins on Ice! This beautifully made puzzle game is engaging and requires critical thinking and problem solving skills. For my students it has helped them to learn to persevere and collaborate with others to solve the Penguins' on Ice challenges! It is great fun for adults too! I would highly recommend this awesome game for a problem-solving center. I am certain students will appreciate this as a center, and it is an activity that is complete and ready to go!
