Smarties Original Candy Rolls, 1 lb

I had seen a real cute idea on Pintrest for making diplomas out of candy. However, I needed to think from a more financially conservative perspective, so I downsized the idea and made little mini diplomas out of the Smarties and an address label. With a little help (begrudgingly mind you ) from the boys, we were able to do up all three bags in under 2 hours :-) Cute ~ economical ~ tasty ~ personalized ~ does it get any better than that?

The rounded versions of PEZ . Never all to keen on either . The Plastic Dispensers were the only reason we bought the sour little bricks . So 2 one pound bags filled my old utensil jar recycling a glass jar I've used for over 30 years . They should last a while !

I was making a candy bar for my daughter's birthday. This is a great addition and the kids loved it. Defiantly a great value. Will buy them again if I need to make a candy bar birthday.

Same great classic taste that I remember as a kid. The individual wrapped portions in rolls are good for snacking on the go. This is a big bag.

Remember eating them as a kid. Some things never change, no matter how old you are. Same sweet/tart taste I remember. If you're crazy like me, you open them a few at a time and pick out the purple, and eat them; then the yellow, and eat them, etc. etc. They last longer that way. Blast from the past.

one of my all time favorites. years ago on the FoodNetwork the show Unwrapped showed how they were made. my 5yr old grandson watched with me. it thought it was pretty cool how it was done.

I have eaten Smarties Original Candy Rolls for decades %26 they are always the same quality %26 taste as they were growing up. I bought this package to keep some in my purse so I have them on hand if I get a blood sugar drop or need a quick snack away from any food sources. They are pretty much pressed sugar, reasonably priced %26 taste better than many products designed to raise blood sugar quickly. I used to keep name brand individually wrapped snack bars in my purse (they don't melt in summer like chocolate), but they are outrageously priced right now. Smarties take up less room in my purse too.

These are exactly what they're supposed to be, I'm just not a fan. I'm not a big “sweets” person but I enjoy a candy every once in a while and this was NOT it. I think smarties are kind of sour and I don't like the powdery texture. I remember eating these as a child and I really enjoyed them then so it's absolutely a matter of personal preference!

Get rid of the food dyes and this would be a better product.
