Smarties Original Candy Rolls 5, Ib

I like having a bag of these handy, and yes they are an indulgence. Who doesn't remember these from when they were a kid and if you are old like me, they were one of the candy staples when you were little and wanted to round out your penny candy bag with fruity sours. It's too bad that they don't have that for the kids now... it was something to look forward to. I buy the 5 pound bag because there are four adults in the house and we all indulge our inner children.

These are the best Canadian made Smarties, not like the US made, bland, too hard type. Always read the country of origin on labels to see what to expect. Especially with ever changing tariffs affecting pricing. That's why I got 5%23 bag- a treasure find .

What I like about this order is the 5lb bag of Smarties is worth well the $14.00 spent. My grandkids love them and always enjoy knowing I carry some in my purse. :)

The box was damaged. It looked like it had been mishandled possibly even stepped on. Bag was still sealed but several individually wrapped packages are crushed.

I love the candy but I have ordered this item 4 times now from Walmart and haven't received not one order yet always gets canceled terrible service and customer service is no better at helping

The description says "original Smarties fruit flavors," but not true. I have purchased these many times over the years and thru a few days ago, and until my purchase on March 9, 2025, they have always been the same (i.e., the "original Smarties fruit flavors" and texture). The 5lb bag I just received is garbage (literally, going into the garbage after I have ensured I didn't just pick out a bad one - they are all bad). Rather than the solid candy that was easily powderified in your mouth with a sweet and sharply sour tang, they are now like soggy chalk. No fight back if bitten straight away, and almost immediately soggified in your mouth, and the tang is completely gone. I will not again risk buying a 5 lb bag - maybe the smaller bags are the originals (while these seems like a wholly different recipe, I suspect that it was made in a different factory, or at least with different quality of ingredients).

I never received it the store store canceled my order I don't know why
