Very strong strap, more than I needed, but the price was better than expected when compared to local retail outlets. Bought 5 of them, since shipping is free over $50.00, making it a no-brainer. Half price than any store you can buy them in. Cut them to the max length I would ever need, burned them at the ends so no fray, and ran with it.

These tie down straps are very easy to use and very well made. I would recommend using them 100%.

Let's face it, a strap is a strap. You can buy ratchet straps from dozens of different companies. The prices will range from ridiculously high to moderately low. I searched and searched for the best pricing I could find, and for the most part, Northern was about the best I could find in a credible company. So, they got the sale. When the ratchet straps arrived, one of the ratchets appeared to have a "crack" or defect in the metal. Since I bought so many, I thought a return would be a futile effort of frustration, but I called Customer Service anyway. WOW!!!! The CSR was polite, caring, helpful, etc. There was no question about it. She sent our the replacement ratchet and strap, and told me that I could either keep the defective one, or throw it in the trash. I didn't have to prove anything, process a return or argue. As a business owner, this is the kind of company I appreciate, and will be using them in the future whenever they can supply our construction company with a needed product. Thank you Northern Tool

We use a lot of straps in our business and we need good quality materials. We have been using these for some time and always have good results. They hold up well under a lot of use, getting wet and tough conditions. The price is good for the quality of the straps. We would recommend them highly!

The 10,000-Lb capacity of these SmartStraps is great if you want to strap a car down to a trailer. So many straps on the market don't even come close to this capacity, which can lead to disastrous results if the straps break. These SmartStraps work great and are easy to use. this is a great buy when you catch them on sale, I always stock up on a few for myself and as replacement straps for ones that I have lost or completely abused, they do not do well once they are split or fraying but that like I said is from my abuse, they are economical and everyone should have a couple or at least one in each truck behind your seat or in your tool box, they are a life saver item no pick up truck should be without.
