This tape is the perfect solution to my cats scratching the furniture! I'm so happy someone finally figured out that double sided sticky tape is the perfect solution because cats despise anything that sticks to their feet! Therefore they won't put their feet on the area you want them to stop scratching. Also provide plenty of other appropriate scratching areas, posts for them to use instead. Will be buying more if I discover any more areas they inappropriately scratch. Found this tape before the cats destroyed my furniture. So happy it exists. 5 stars!

This tape saved my designer fabric desk chair as well as my standing in a multigenerational family. I taped the length of the side and back corners as well as the chair bottom back and both sides. Thats all she needed to stop scratching. Being the eldest and taking in a stray cat caused a few raised eyebrows, but, thanks to Walmarts online/delivery service, the tape and three scratch toys, because I felt guilty about the sticky tape, everything is copacetic. It is possible to teach an old dog/cat/lady new tricks.

I was skeptical as I've tried other similar products, but this stuff does seem to work. It stays put on my fabric furniture and the cats, who are so used to doing their scratchy thing, immediately stop upon contact. In fact, they don't even get to the touch part before they turn in frustration, and seek other things to destroy. Finally, my investments in cat scratch posts and boxes are proving valuable!

I bought this product to hopefully prevent my cat from jumping up on the tv stand. It is very sticky and a little bit clumsy to use but it does make it quite unpleasant for him to step on. I would recommend it.

My cats are excellent about not scratching when I am home, but it is when I am out they are naughty. So far this is working. It takes a lot to push it to the sofas, put it is holding well after 5 days still.

not sure why this is double sided sticky?? seems odd. it is imperative that you clean the surface well or the dirt/lint sticks to the tape and no sticky to the chair. not very thick so it does not really look to be any real protection to the furniture. really not liking this. don't waste your money.

The design of the dispenser leaves much to be desired. Why does it have to be sticky on both sides of the tape? IDK! The product is difficult to apply to fabric upholstery without it bunching up. My cat won't scratch where I applied it. That's why I didn't rate it one star. Try a different product.
