My cat will use nothing else. Cardboard does get all over carpet, but I don't mind vacuuming because she's so happy and needs it

I tried hanging the product but it seemed a little too high so I placed it on the floor and my cat has been overjoyed. It came with catnip which made her even happier. This was inexpensive and perfect. No strings or carpet to clean up. Highly recommended

I bought two of these and taped them together on the bottom and ends to make one that is wider. This scratcher is shorter in length than the ones meant for the floor, but our cats don't know. And they all love it. I have it setting on a bottom shelf (near the floor) and they love scratching their claws and sleeping on the scratcher. And this brand seems to last a bit longer. We have four cats so these scratchers get a work out. I did not buy this one to hang on the door so I cannot comment on how it would work.

My cats prefer this to their scratching post. But they use it on the ground. They like to stand and lay on it. I always keep a few around. The larger size is great too.

Our kitten loves these and I like that they already have the catnip included. I like that you can hang it from the door handle or lay it on the ground. We have both and he has only used it when it was laying flat on the ground. The price was the lowest I've found too.

Lightning fast shipping. The cats give this a rating of 4 stars. They deducted a star because they did not request a hanging scratch pad (my mistake.) That being said, they've enjoyed it. They love Smarty Kat products, especially their catnip(all the kits who carry the “activated catnip receptors!” at least! Trivia: do all cats react to catnip?) But I digress. Glad that Smarty Kat products can be found via Walmart! If you do have cats you love, give their “stuff”a try!

I bought the hanging scratcher and the one that lays on the floor. The cat prefers to scratch my speaker instead. Might work for some. Especially a kitten, but not my cat.
