Smash Up: Marvel Board Game

I had picked up smash up munchkin and didn't understand the concept, but after picking up this title, it became apparent and fun quickly. The potential combinations from smashing up these two franchises made gor a good game night. I had chosen cleric and shield as my factions and the cleric allowed me to keep anything lost from staying in my graveyard and had curses to eliminate enemy threats or block their advance while sheild allowed me to use the synergies of having a minion or character on base becoming stronger as i add more allies the talents ongoing abilities from marvel really added a modern spin the munchkin fantasy genre that smashed up beautifully, the game is well thought out and enjoying i look forward to buying the base set and see what else that add.

Such a fun game to play with the whole family! It's unlike many other games I've played before and very competitive

the theme is well represented. The game play is at a good level, not very simple nor very complicated. much more fun with higher player count. If you are a Marvel's fan you will enjoy the cards. It has a sratagy element, but if you are looking for a very deep war like strategy you will not find it here. this does not mean it is simple, there is some level of depth.

Not as good as the original but still very fun! Nice way to change the game up a little and my son(11) loves it. If you like Smash Up and Marvel it's a fun game!

Bought to play with our kids and it looks like we will have fun, but haven't played yet because the instructions are very long.

the box was a bit dinged up, but it shoukd still play, i suspect.
