Smead Hanging File Folder Frame, Steel, Letter Size, 2 per Pack (64870)

These file frames are great! I've used them for years in my 4-drawer filing cabinet, and just bought a new set for drawers at my desk. The drawers are too small to allow for the full frame, but instead I put the end supports on the left and right sides of the drawer and cut the supporting bars to fit. (See pic.) Wonderful! The files I access more frequently are readily available to me and hanging them means nothing drops down and gets lost in the depth of the drawer.

I was looking for a file cabinet with sides to accept hanging folders. These bars allowed me to use the cabinet I have. They were easy to install and seem sturdy.

The frame is pretty durable and goes together easily. I had to custom cut it for the depth of my file cabinet drawer. The snap off lengths provided didn't go short enough for what I needed, so I marked the length I needed and used a Saws-All to cut it to fit. It is sturdy considering the price. I am sure it will hold up under the weight of my hanging files.

These were easy to put together and put in the drawers. I didn't cut off the ends. I bent them at the notches so they would fit in the drawers.

It was what I expected, but could not read the directions.Because it had the label placed across the instructions

I purchased the Smead Hanging Folder Frames for an older filing cabint. The frames were easy to adjust to make an excellent fit. I was impressed for how durable and sturdy these frames are. All around good quality and made in the USA.

Racks worked with much work to make sure it fit in file drawer. I could not cut the metal strip, as it wasn't scored down enough the strip. Once put together it worked fine to hold the files in my old file cabinet

I found that I did not need them but it was too late to cancel the order. I am now trying to return the order and I do not care for the gymnastics I have to go through the return it. The instructions say "click on 'contact seller' and I do not see that option. IF I ever order through Walmart again I will think twice on how difficult Walmart makes it. IF I BUY FROM WALMART, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETURN IT AT WALMART. THIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have already done a very detailed review about my negative experience, and never received a reply. My package arrived extremely damaged, and there were parts missing, making the file folder frame useless to me until replacing the missing parts.

This failed to work for my filing cabinet since it is 6 inches to long even if I do snap it off to the shortest notch. There was no size or measurements on the product so I knew I was taking a chance but since it was the only one without measurements I figured it would fit my filing cabinet. Not true.
