I used these over a green tablecloth and they looked classy and beautiful. Not too thick to prevent glasses from standing, but thick enough to work as a placemat.

Bought this as a "snowy" base mat for our fireplace mantle where we have a forest of different trees during Christmas. As a table runner, it would be disappointing because it's quite thin and slightly smaller than advertised, which made it fit our 12" x 50" mantle perfectly! The tree design hangs over each side just right, and the thin off-white fabric allows the smaller trees in our forest to stand straight. A great find for our needs, but maybe not so good for its intended use...

expected the material to be soft but the colors and length were great.

Looks like something you'd find at the dollar tree but worse.
