SmileMart 2 in 1 Wood Bench with Double Planter Boxes for Outdoor 38.5 H Brown

nothing wrong with this bench as is. however, I'm going to add a layer of polyurethane to it just to preserve it from heavy rain. I realize that that works best with all the wood products that I have in my yard. I just apply a layer every one or two years and that does the trick. keeps it looking brand new. The bench is made from a nice soft wood, And I'm sure it's designed to last as it, But I just want to add an extra layer of protection. Anyway, it was easy to assemble, and it came with all the tools you need for it. (i.e. wrenches, allen key) I was concerned about how it's 30 you would be at first, and was prepared to reinforce it myself. But, I didn't need to. The build feels strong and sturdy. the planters on the sides are huge...will be no problem holding decent size potted plants. Nice addition to my yard :)

I bought this bench to use in my front porch and am very glad with this purchase. It is easy to put together with only one person but would be easier with two and the instructions are clear. The color is a nice medium brown and the bench can fit two people. I love the planter box feature and think it will add alot of aesthetic to the front porch. I can't wait to add some flowers to the planter boxes. Shiiping was also fast and am all in all very pleased. My only recommendation if you are sensitive to smells would be to open it next to a window as it has a strong paint smell when first opened but other than that no complaints.

I will start out by saying the one thing I don't like about the bench and that is that no where does it give the weight limit. I have looked through the manual and all over the listing on Walmart and other stores but it is never mentioned. That is kind of an important detail that really needs to be included. That being said, I actually do really love the bench. It is so cute, I can't wait to get some flowers planted in it. It sits really comfortably, the back is sort of angled so you don't feel like you are sitting board stiff straight like some benches. The seat is wide enough for someone a little on the heavier side. I mentioned to weight limit is given but I can say that my husband who is 6'1" and about 260lbs sat on it and it didn't bow or looked strained at all so Im assuming it is at least 350-400lbs. Assembly was pretty easy. The directions say it should take about an hour and I'd say that was fairly accurate if you are assembling with a screwdriver. The wood seems to be of good quality and sturdy and the width is great for a single person. it really is just adorable. I'll probably sew up a cushion to put on it and give it even a little more character. The color of the wood is beautiful. My mom has made several hints that it would make a great mother's day present for her lol Overall, I'd certainly recommend

Great bench! i took the advise of prev reviews and painted it down with the polyurethane for outdoor rain protection especially since im in Florida.
