Alden Design Wooden Garden Potting Bench with Sliding Tabletop, Gray

The assembly was straight forward and pretty easy. There were 2 or 3 stages that said to use 2 people but I was still able to complete it mostly without help. Only at one point did I really need someone else to hold up a part while I assembled. There are a number of assembly spots that the bolts and nuts need to be really tightened for true sturdiness and the flat little caster wrench provided was too big to tighten them. (it's sized for tightening the wheels) So I used a pair of pliers and a flat head to really tighten those spots. After that, it was solid. The wood came with a few dings and was easily dinged up even when scraping to peel off the part label stickers but I'm not upset at all because its an outdoor item that is going to get dirty and nicked anyway. Also, I used a power tool instead of a screw driver, which I recommend, but just be slow as to not split the wood. Overall, I'm very happy with the item. It looks great and I bought a matching raised gardening bed to go next to it so I'm ready to make my little gardening corner.

Beautiful potter's stand! We actually used it as a drink station for my daughter's baby shower and it was an amazing accent to the overall decorations. The wood is sturdy and the sliding shelves each held 5 gallon juices (while extended) which are heavy. I thought we would give this away after but love it so much I'm keeping it to use for its intended purpose.

This little bench is cute, sturdy, and lightweight, all attributes I wanted for my small tool bench/work station. It would make a good craft bench, potting bench, coffee bar, or outdoor bar station for a patio. It took me about an hour and fifteen minutes to assemble. The assembly instructions are pretty vague, so be prepared for that. I left screws loose until I was sure whatever section/step I was working on was correct (I did have part of step one reversed, so I was glad I’d worked that way). The parts fit together well. The door to my bench had a slight split in the top, and looked as if it’d been glued, but it was not highly noticeable, so wasn’t a big deal to me. I would suggest using a small drill bit to pre-drill the little shelf attachment (where the back board attaches to the two upright/vertical boards), as I did have some minor splitting issues when screwing that together. This is being kept in my garage, so I’m not staining it at this time. But I would definitely stain or seal it if kept outdoors, because the wood is fairly soft/lightweight.

Good place to work with plants. It was easy to use in the yard and helped with repotting of plants. Clean up was easy.

Very convenient and classy. Definitely unique in design and is environmental friendly. It can fit into any home settings. Another thing is that it is light but durable and can hold medium to heavy plants.
