Smithfield All Natural Fresh Ground Pork, 1.5 lb

This ground pork was very delicious and fresh. Plus, it's a real bargain! I made the most delicious meat sauce for pasta with this pork and it will be my go-to from now on. I liked it better than ground beef!

"The other white meat" ground pork is so versatile and tasty. Instead of ground beef, pork taste great and has less fat. Ground pork patties, Spanish rice with ground pork, spaghetti with ground pork , all easy and with yummy porky flavor. A nice change from beef.

Unseasoned fresh ground pork not too fatty either. I use it in stir-frys and other Asian recipes. It is really good mixing with ground beef in a meat loaf. In a pinch I would use it in a marinara sauce but I always used jimmy dean sausage in my marinara sauce.

I love this ground pork... when it's available. goes great in casseroles on sandwiches with eggs, very versatile and tasty. the only thing you have to watch are the shoppers at Walmart when ordering that they don't grab one that someone in the meat department hasn't pulled due to expiration. this has happened to me more than once but that doesn't make the product bad employee not doing their job. when product is fresh and delivered before expiration, it is super delish! I love it!

It's a good value compared to ground beef right now. This was the first time I'd tried ground pork and I guess I was thinking it would have a strong flavor but obviously it's not smoked or anything.... it was actually quite mild so be prepared to spice it up. It's not like regular hamburgers but you can use it for anything in place of hamburger so meatloaf, meatballs etc.... they all come out good with adequate spices.

Purchased to make some homemade lumpia for the first time. I've never made any before and so I did from a recipe from Youtube, and was pleasantly surprised that they turned out well. I will purchase another pack and make some more to freeze and enjoy as a quick snack or apart of a meal for my family.

Great change from regular ground beef, chicken or turkey. Pork has a light flavor that taste great any which way you make it. I saute it at times with a ton of vegetables (corn, carrots, peas and brocolli). Also add a liquid or packaged (taco, asian, country etc) sauce to the mix to really take it to another level ! All fresh, all in a skillet, season, cover...done ! In addition, the BEST meatloafs are made from 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 ground pork. Try it sometime

Made easy Wonton soup with these. The mixture was a little too moist to make into meatballs, so I froze them before putting them into the soup and it worked well! Had a great flavor and was low in fat. Can also mix with ground chicken or turkey to stretch it out.

There were lots of bones ground into meat. Some really large pieces and small ones. Now I have to put a disclaimer on all the gifts of homemade meatballs. I didn't want to throw away 9 lbs of ground pork and 9 lbs of ground beef. I found as much as I could while spending 4 hours rolling. I'm not happy.

Well, since the item was out of stock, it is difficult to review. The pictures on line look lovely. I'm sure it would have been tasty but I did not receive it to actually know. The value seemed good. I did not actually pay for it since it was not received by me. Tried buying this 2 days in a row and both days the system allowed me to order it only to tell me it was out of stock.
