Smithfield Prime Fresh Black Forest Ham, Deli Sliced Ham, 16 oz

It is a pound of the best tasting ham I have ever had. Hands down! I am now a forever fan of this brand. I can't wait to see what else they produce. This is sliced already %26 the thickness is perfect. I wonder if they sell whole hams? Sure. would be great for X-Mas if they do!

I made a mistake on the Great Value turkey. I did order the large package I guess, but I tried to review it and accidentally hit submit too soon. it's an item that I have in my freezer that I haven't used yet. so far all of the Great Value deli meats that I've tried I will buy again but I would prefer to buy the more expensive and name brand ones instead of buying great value. but my budget can't handle it. I wasn't crazy about the company of ham Black Forest that Walmart carries so this time I tried the Smithfield Black Forest ham and to tell you the truth I've had better. it's good and I'll buy it again. and it may have been on a rollback or a clearance or a sale of some sort. but the flavor is good it's just the texture I'm not crazy about

Ham was covered in a slimy gel. It was all over the inside of package. I only opened it to take the pictures. I have no intention of eating this ham. Only time I’ve ever seen meat this slick and slimy is when it’s really spoiled. Date is still good on package but no way would I eat this. You can see all the slime and gel in the pics.

the ham was bad ,it was light colored around the edges and the pinkish color in the middle. I bought the same brand many years ago from Walmart that was just starting to carry food and I figured that's why it was bad then, but apparently not. lesson learned.

Received two packs of Smithville ham on May 8th and one package was out of date on March 3rd and the other on March 17th. NOT HAPPY with this picker at all. Also gave us a personal size watermelon instead of the larger one stated he picked and it was bad. Also a difference in prices. To many poor experiences lately.

We thought we were ordering deli meat but this is pre-packaged and not good. It is slimy! It’s covered in a weird caramel goo that has a weird aftertaste and slick slimy mouth feel. Fresh sliced deli meat is priced the same and much better texture

I just ordered this prime fresh delicate attendant from Smithfield Black Forest ham why do you sell products to people that just received them last night from October 20 of 25 that is outdated and old I wanna refund and I want a new package of ham or I’m sending this and make photos of it to the Better Business Bureau

The ham was not pink, but grayish . I fried it because the “best by date” was 6./2026. The slimy film did not cook out. We discarded the entire package.

Expiration date 02/03/ 2026, opened package, product very slimy, chose not to eat, definitely bacterial presence. Full package trashed. Full inventory inspection suggested.

the deli ham has a used buy date of 12/29/2025. it was delivered to us on 2/23/2026. it is disgusting! please issue a credit immediately for this ham.
