Really good, I'd planned to get turkey from the deli but I tried this instead. It's better than the last deli meat I got. Tastes very fresh and has better texture than some deli meat. Beats any other prepackaged deli meat I've bought at regular grocery stores. Good flavor. I'll be buying this instead of fresh deli in the future.
This is a quality lunch meat. Not overprocessed or too salty, just right. I've ordered it a couple of times and it is an excellent choice for sandwiches.
once i bought a pack that tasted like rubber. i was very disappointed because i eat this for lunch at work atleast 4 times a week. i think that was a package i havent experienced it since.
This turkey is probably one of the best turkey lunch meats. The reason I gave it 4 stars it because today is December 5th. The turkey I received expired 2 days ago on December 3th. I get my groceries delivered and it seems they try to give me old, expired sometimes rotten food. 8 out of 10 times my bananas are over ripe.
Even though I would recommend this, I still find that the price for the amount of lunchmeat that is now sold is ridiculous. I know this has nothing to do with Walmart, and it is actually the brand fault, but I feel like this needs to be addressed across the board.
I didn't like the taste of this deli meat. It does not taste anything like turkey at all. When I opened the package it sort of smelled like canned vienna sausage if that makes any sense. The flavor was very salty and had literally no turkey flavor. Would not recommend.
I like the turkey really good flavor and taste. My only problem I found out later is there was yeast in it. I'm allergic to yeast, so know I have a yeast infection and can't eat any more of the turkey.
I like the product. It's just the package was open on one side. How does it even get out the door? Isn't someone looking at the products to make sure they are sealed and not leaking? Anyway, according to Walmart's website, you can return the product for a refund. That's it. How about if you (Walmart) deliver an opened product or deliver the wrong product, which happened on my last delivery from Walmart, you (Walmart) pick it up?! I use Walmart's delivery for a reason - I'm handicap and on disability which means I don't get much money. So, I can either go to the store to return the opened package to get my $6.48 back or, throw it away which means I'm out the money anyway or, take the risk and eat it. None are great options. It's just another thing I won't be buying from Walmart.
Sliced Smithfield Prime Fresh Delicatessen Oven roasted turkey breast has what appears to be sharp bone in at least 3 slices in a row. In my photo I have placed one of the pieces of potential bone just below the words “FAMILY SIZE”. My wife and I have sandwiches all set to go for dinner and we have given up and are throwing the sandwiches out. I went to go eat a slice of the turkey while I was working on the sandwiches, and the bone like piece poked me in the mouth. I was able to find it in the next two slices and I stopped looking for it.
It goes bad within 3 days of opening it. I tried to make a sandwich and It didn't expire until 02/22/26, but it smelled rancid and the texture was gritty. Will not buy again!!
