Saw a YouTube video using this device to make fire starter material. Immediately got on Walmart.com %26 ordered it for my survival kit. Nifty device. Fun to use %26 play with. Really can start fires easily.

Pretty good
I bought this for the grinder part. The rod is too small to mess with and the striker is a joke. This isn't a very good value item but the grinder for the tinder was worth it to me. The idea is out there so someone will soon manufacture a cheaper version I am sure.

it's a great tool, love it . seems to be good quality. as well it is thought out well packs up small excellent for a back pack. like how the cutting blade turns backwards to protect it, well thought out as well the instructions in side were easy to read and understand. love the product .
