Smucker’s Red Plum Jam Jam, 18 oz Jar

This plum jam is the top of the line! It is smooth and silky and the plum flavor wafts out of the jar and is tasty on warm bisquits, a slice of toast and as a condiment with chicken, turkey or pork. It's not cheap, but it is very good.

This is the only jam I buy . I have loved this for years. It’s hard to find. But it is great in a PB%26J, on toast %26 to make your own plum sauce for stir fry or egg rolls.

I’ve loved this stuff since I was a kid which is a long time since I just turned 55. lol. It’s not always easy to find so I’m happy Walmart has it in stock.

As far back as I can remember, red plum jam is just out of this world awesome!! My mom always made sourdough biscuits and Smuckers Red Plum Jam was on the table by the biscuits. When I moved to Iron Mountain MI. There was not a jar to be found. I told my mom I couldn't get it. The stores didn't carry it. My mom mailed us jars of Smucker's red plum jam along with jars of pickle okra. These things are a southern staple. I just discovered it here in BHC at Walmart and I'm so happy I discovered it. Thanks, Walmart!!

Smuckers Red Plum jam has become my new fav with jelly and jam. I used to always buy preserves. But one time they weren’t available so I tried Red Plum jam instead of strawberry preserves. Right from the beginning I saw how spreadable the jam is as compared to preserves. And no large chunks to navigate. It’s so good and so easy.

Great Jam. Delicious on Cornbread, Bisquits, Toast, Tortillas, Ritz Crackers, IceCream, Bagels, Pies, Cakes, Cookies etc. A little goes a long way !Highly recommend!

Hubby loves this on his toast with a slice of bacon. I've tried it on baked short bread cookies in the oven at Christmas and on puffed pastry in the oven as well. It is good for many dishes.

Everyone should try this red plum jelly. It’s delicious. I don’t like plums that much but I love this jelly. I even got my nieces and nephews to eat it.

This jam just didn't taste like Red Plums, in my opinion. It was just a sweet jam with a somewhat fruity flavor, but no definite plum taste. The texture struck me like jelly more than the jam I expected. There was no pieces of plum that I could find. It might be all right to spoon on ice cream or yogurt or waffles. But I prefer a jam that definitely tastes like the fruit it's made from, and if I find pieces of fruit in it, so much the better. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this product. This is not the best effort I have come to expect from Smucker's.

Unfortunately I didnt get to eat it. I was about to make my kids a delicious peanut butter and jelly and to my dismay, the seal wasnt sealed and the jelly had mold on it. Im not sure what's going on but I've had the misfortune of receiving a few items over the last few months who's seals weren't sealed. This is very horrible for low income families to spend what they have and get a product they cant even use
