I already had a kitchen scale but it would not weigh very heavy items at all. I am not sure the limit, but I have hit it more than once when measuring things in jars/pans. So when I saw that this one supposedly weighs up to 22 lbs. I thought I would give it a try. After all, it cost just under $11. Not much to lose if it didn't work. But it did work … perfectly. I did not try it out all the way to 22 lbs, but I had a chunk of steel that I use for a weight when gluing things. I put it on there. In the pic, you can see that it weighed 9 lbs. 9.9 oz which reads 9:9.9 on the scale. I weighed it 5 times to test consistency. It weighed 9:9.9 all 5 times. I will not ever need it for heavier than that, so that was good. My other scales would not go that high so I do not have a comparison at that weight. But I decided to measure some lightweight items that I could compare against my old scale. I placed two tea bags on each scale. You can see from the 2nd pic that they weighed the same. I did multiple measurements and they came out identical each time. As for appearance, it is very attractive. It is stainless and matches my other kitchen appliances. Although it is fairly intuitive, it did come with instructions. They were not written by a native English speaker, but they were very easy to understand and follow. Since there really was not anything that I did not like about the scale, I will describe my favorite feature instead. That is the size of the buttons and readouts. This one is so much easier to see (age 76) than my old one. You can see that by comparing the pics. On my old one it took 2-3 pairs of reading glasses stacked on top of one another to tell if it was on g or oz. But the buttons and readouts on this one are easily read with no reading glasses at all. I really like that part. So, I found the scale to be attractive, accurate, consistent and easy to use, all at a price that seems to be a great value. I couldn't ask much more of it than that.
Great little kitchen scale for the price. Easy to use, accurate, and switches between grams, ounces, and ml quickly. The LCD display is clear and the tare function works well for baking and meal prep. Lightweight and compact so it's easy to store. Perfect for everyday cooking and weight loss tracking.
So far they seem to be correct on weight just wish the display was brighter it's very difficult to see
Light and accurate scale. It is stainless steel finish however I'm one of those people that leaves a protective film on until it gets messed up
it was nice thst it came with batteries. i compared it with my current scale and all the weights we exact. in my opinion i would say its accurate. the only thing that i really didnt like was the size. but i need it for weighing larger items. so for the basic kitchen scale this a great value.
I ordered this scale mainly for baking, where measuring by weight is really important, and unfortunately I don't trust the accuracy enough to rely on it. I already own another kitchen scale that has been very consistent, and this one regularly gives slightly different readings for the same ingredients. After taring my bowl to 0 grams and weighing dough, removing the dough would often leave the scale reading anywhere from -2g to 2g instead of returning to zero. The tare button is finicky, and I have to press it multiple times sometimes to get it to work. The scale itself is compact and easy to store, but the small size also makes the display difficult to see once you place a mixing bowl on top. For estimating general weights, it's probably fine. If you just need to know whether something is roughly a pound or not, a few grams won't matter much. But for baking or anything requiring precision, I don't think this scale is reliable enough.
