Snack Cakes, Little Debbie Family Pack Gingerbread Cookies

When I was younger, I vaguely remember little school events that involved these little gingerbread cookies — these soft, frosted ones, and as a kid, I absolutely adored it. And if I remember right, back then, these were year round! Not always Christmas branded - just able to be grabbed and bought from it's home on the shelf. As such, I was SO delighted to see them in store when shopping, and even more delighted to see on the box that they were now “year round” again — especially since they didn't come in during Christmas at my store this year or lat year that I can remember — only just now! For as long as they keep that going I will definitely be indulging in grabbing a box or two off the shelf to enjoy as a little snack. They may be small-ish, but I'm okay with that personally as it reminds me they're a snack. And they're as good and nostalgic as I remember :)

I am such a sucker for seasonal treats, and these Little Debbie Gingerbread Cookies are exactly what I look forward to when the weather starts to cool down. I am obsessed with these valentine's day gingerbread men. They have a bit more molasses than your standard gingerbread cookie (keeps them soft) and I love that extra flavor punch! I bought one box on a whim. Went back the next day and bought 5 more boxes and threw them in the freezer. Yeah. They are that yummy!!

In the pantry, I keep the snacks for the kids my little great grandson that is going to be three. If we're outside I'm gonna go get a snack go ahead and he comes back with a ginger snap cookies. He loves these cookies and when he's eating it he says good. My other grandsons and granddaughter they all love these cookies I do too. They are really good. They taste real good. I suggested on the price is not bad and sometimes you can only get them during the holiday. Mark my word buy them you'll be the kids I love them.

Well, I guess I like these cookies because I've bought well over a dozen boxes, from Fall design into Spring (by design, I mean the box design). I can't get enough! I always make sure I have a stash. Lol. Yes, they may be a little dry, but that's the nature of gingerbread. They make a great snack with afternoon coffee or tea, low in sugar and calories. I hope they stay around through summer!
