The detail on the product is exceptional and when I gave it to my grandkids they absolutely loved it. They really like to create things and sci fi. I think this was a perfect mix of both categories. The product did not break and the packaging kept the box from breaking, too.

It was so fun to put together and I enjoyed being able to make different crafts from 1 set.

My 7 year old son likes that this ship can drop troops, has a big bomb and the claws. He also likes the design of the guns. My 10 year old daughter likes having all the figures included and how the drop pods pop off with a press. Both kids are always impressed by the Snap Ship designs. This is a great addition to existing sets or as something to get started with. Snap ships are durable, interchangeable and creatively designed.

My kids and I had a lot of fun putting this Troop Drooper together and watching to see how it turned out. My kids loved the design of it and creativity. However, some of the pieces were a little hard to snap together but that makes it even funner, more challenging. The best part to me was the memories we created building it.

Kiddos and I had fun building this and playing with it afterwards. It does take a bit of force to ""snap"" the pieces together but my kiddos figured out other ways ( pushing it into the floor/other pieces to make it snap). We only did the initial build but the instructions where easy for them to understand. It did require you to pay attention to the orientation of the blocks, but this was noticed in the instructions. The pieces and finished build seem sturdy for daily play/abuse, haha. The tail end doesn't stay as snapped as I would have liked, but the kiddos made it work so that's all that matters really. They loved the drop ships and had a blast making the lasers work.

So I picked up three of these at the same time, and so far I absolutely love them! However there's two small issues that knock it down, but to me only to 4.5 (can't do that here, full stars only). On the gun (pic attached), one side is glued, and this is on all three kits. I thought both sides were moveable, as the glued side is at a super funky angle on them, and putting any slight bit of pressure causes it to snap. I had to put a dab of glue and hold it to fix. The second is that for about half of the troop pods, they don't clip securely. The ones that do are awesome, but I don't want to keep futzing with it to keep the little guys secured Otherwise I love the kit, and I'm super excited to use the claw bits to make some mech parts.

This is something to keep you entertained with and really fun to put together! Its also interesting to see how its going to turn out and the stand is pretty nice add on if youre someone into building things just to keep as is. Only issues is when building it, some parts fall apart easily and the stand is wobbly. It does stay up but some movement can cause it to tip over. Other than that, its a pretty good toy and cool gift for a kid that loves to build things.

The design and concept of these figures is pretty cool. They're meant to be similar to the LEGO Bionicle toys, but with adaptive design spaceships. The pod pieces of the Scorpion toy are extremely flimsy and were a bother to even try and put on. I eventually just said 'screw it' and left the pods in the box with the mini-figure soldiers and the pilot mini-figure. The packaging is pretty neat, but the use of standard scotch tape can lead to the box art being damaged when opening the package to get to the toy. I like the design and the concept. But there is something to be desired with the quality of certain pieces. One of the under arm pieces didn't have a peg holder in it, so I couldn't complete the designs as intended. The pods for the aliens were hard to put together and fell apart easy. The tail kept falling off every time we tried to snap something together. The tail claws also kept falling off. But over all the whole thing looked pretty cool but I wouldn't buy it again it was just to flimsy
